    Casein Vs Egg Protein

I'm currently cutting and have to have extra liquid protein in my diet. Since Whey protein causes an insulin spike I decided to buy either egg or casein protein. Which would you recommend for a shake throughout the day, egg or casein, which one causes less of an insulin spike.

Also I'm lactose intolerant, would casein protein effect this? Any info is appreciated

Most if not all casein proteins have egg albumen in them which is an egg protein- slow disgesting. If you add healthy fats to whey protein that'll slow down the digestion, but I'm not sure how long. There's also a chance they make lactose-free casein proteins, but I'm not sure

Yeah, I was going to get either ON casein or On Egg protein but that **** has 250-500 milligrams of sodium per serving, that's INSANE! I think I'll go with Dymatize Elite Casein, it supposedly has enzymes to help digest milk so I guess it's ok, too bad Muscle Gauge Casein is out of stock, it seemed perfect

Yeah, i thought about getting it but it's a protein blend and features less casein and has whey concentrate, I haven't had concentrate whey before but my bro has and it gives him gas, so I'll base it off of that

Whey protein is VERY insulinogenic. A 20-25g dose can maximize insulin levels above baseline.

If it is Jay Robb's vanilla it wont...

Yes it does, but don't worry too much about it unless you are on a strict diet.
