Opinion on lifting 2x a day?

Brahs I need your opinion, I have a couple friends I know, pretty close, and they're pretty big that are starting to lift twice a day.

    What do you think?

One of them does it because he was told to by his coach who was like Mr Canadian or whatever, at least I think his coach told him that, not too sure.

The other does it because he likes being in the weightroom and he gets bored as hell at home.

I think it is doable man!
I had a similar question here if you wanna read about it:
    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=156599673

I'd say you should start doing it daily, like..hit every muscle daily..and if you can take it, then go for multiple times a day. That is what I'm gonna do!
Let me know if you ever decide on multiple a day, I want to hear your feedback about it!

It can work, provided you know how to program it- what lifts to do, how to vary intensity. I used to do heavy barbell work in the morning and dumbbell accessory work, circuits, complexes, etc in the evenings.
