Personally I am more comfortable being around 200 or os pounds despite the fact that when I get up around 230 I am a lot stronger. I move faster look better play sports better and in general dont need the strength to squat or deadlift such massive weights.
Id rather look cut all the time then squat super heavy aesthetics > strength in day to day life. If you want to do a powerlifting comp eat as much as you can get big and do it, its just not what many people want to do.

Yes, chestbrahh does get stronger in the process but no where near your progress since your training methods are DIFFERENT.
