I need a Lactose Intolerant Protein Shake

    Hi Brahs

Im allergic to milk, when i use a normal protein shake and add water my lips swell up and i feel a bit sick. This is because milk is included in the powders ingredients.

Is anyone lactose intolerant? how did you deal with this issue concerning supplements.

And can anyone link me to a good supplement site in the UK??

Thanks brahs. i need help, ive got good strength for my age but im not gaining weight at all .

I just typed in lactose free in the bodybuilding store. There are plenty of protein products out there.

Yup, I'm lactose intolerant. My favorite protein powder is Syntha-6 which doesn't bother my stomach. Most whey protein isolates don't have lactose, and another product I would recommend is Myofusion.

Google.com seems to a good place to start. (srs)

Most supplement stores have websites, that way you can see if they offer what you are looking for before you drive all the way and get disappointed.

I'm lactose intolerant as well. I just buy lactaid or some other lactose free milk and add that to my protein shake (ON WHEY)...and trust me regular milk used kill my stomach! I have never had any problems with the protein itself though.

As to the title... you need a shake which has the inability to metabolize lactose?

As people have said, try out some isolates. Or stay away from whey/casein and use soy/gemma/rice/etc.

People are misreading his post I do believe.

He is ALLERGIC. BIG DIFFERENCE to INTOLERANT. Intolerant means your body does not product lactase to break down lactose (milk sugar).

He is straight up allergic, his damn lips swell up if he drinks it, think of it as a mild peanut allergy.

OP just stick with Soy, Pea, Hemp, Wheat, plant based proteins. There are some good options out there. Vegan ones would be a good choice as well.

Marc Lobliner the owner of Scivation is Lactose Intolernat and made Scivation Whey so that he could take it. That alone will tell you it will aid those who are lactose intolerant.
If you look around you can pricematch 10lbs for around 54$ its quite a deal to pass up.
