As I'm approaching 200lbs I'm beginning to worry what might happen if I can't stand up again in a squat. Is the a safe way to dump the bar behind you for instance (in a back squat)?
Edit: I ask because my gym doesn't have those safety bar rack thingys (?)

Learn to know the limits of your body and what it can handle, that way you can fall short a rep if you really need to.
