According to me friend(who's from france) there is a lot of racial tension in France and as you can see the majority of the French team are black so apparently there are a lot of fans who don't like the team simply because there is not enough white people on it. If you were playing for a team where half the fans didn't want you to play because of you skin colour you'd probably feel a bit disheartened too. Doesn't excuse them to play that sh!t but if that situation in France is true then it probably has some effect on the team. Plus the whole Domenech thing pretty much fuks their team over.
Individually France are better than Mexico it must be said, but that really means very little internationally because you've got to play as a team. Also are you trying to say Mexico are in the top 5? They're not a bad team but lets not carried away.

im gonna go out on a limb and assume that as you dont know his name is riBery, you dont know much about anything else youre talking about.
On individuals alone, France have one of the best squads in the tournament. Ribery, Anelka, Govou, Evra, Abidal, Sagna, Diaby, Henry etc. etc.
That said.....bye bye cheating frog scumSoon to be updated:

I already said Brazil/Spain/Argentina/Netherlands were better. Mexico? You can't be serious. Portugal? again....lol....Germany? A good team that plays well based off their fantastic team chemistry, not from their sheet talent and skill. Chemistry is something you get from having a good manager who knows how to unite the players. If France had this they would be near-unstoppable.
Anyway, arguing this with you is obviously going to go nowhere. But like I said earlier, I'm not talking about the side Domenech picks, I'm talking about the overall French talent pool, which is quite expansive and much better than Mexico/Portugal/etc.

Looking at the France roster you would think they would be one of the favorites to win the trophy, but they got one problem, an IDIOT of a manager that has embarrassed France on more than one occasion. Finally he will be sacked after so many years, this was nothing less than pathetic performance by France. They did not even deserve to be in the World Cup, looks like karma is a bitch!
Argentina on the other hand dominated the game, South Koreans looked lost on the field, they rushed things, while Argentina easily scored 4 goals. Once again their defense proved to be pretty bad. It will be interesting to see them play in the knockout phase against better ranked teams.Soccer, it's like air and water, only more important

"Hello Tom,
Here's a reminder of the team that will be doing its best to win you a cash prize in the SureMen Last 8 Sweepstake.
Italy
If your team makes it to the quarter finals, you'll win £5. If they get through to the semi-finals, that becomes £15. One of two finalists will win you £25 and, if you've backed the overall winner, you'll be £50 better off."

Mexico **** yeah!
Mexico is going to go for the win against Uruguay.. Itll likely end
1) Mexico
2) Uruguay
3) France
4) S.A.
Argentina is good, but not unbeatable. Defense is lacking, and im still waiting for the mardona implosion. That being said, It makes no sense for Mexico or Uruguay to want to play them over a team like S. Korea. So there will be some good games till the end in this group.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender

Probably, but i dont think neither Mexico or Uruguay want to face Argentina in the next round, they'd rather face South Korea who is (on paper) an easy pass to the quarter finals.
I dont know about Uruguay, but im sure as hell Mexico will go for the victory next tuesday
