Haven't done it, but I know people who have and it's been successful.

The whole idea behind a keto diet is to "convert" your body from using carbs to using fats as it's main energy source. So just lowering carbs won't do it.

Can't answer, sorry. It'd be different for everyone anyway.

Yes. You'll feel a like shit after a while because of the no carbs, but generally speaking that's the worst that'll happen. Remember to carb load as well so you reload your glycogen stores a couple times a week, or however many the diet recommends I can't remember.

When I was on the Keto diet at first i was losing roughly 2lbs/week. I was losing weight so fast I was getting minor stretch marks. My lifts went up but very slowly like adding 5lbs a month. I upped my carbs from about 50 to 80- 100 and noticed a lot better results. I shed about 10lbs with zero cardio, just lifting very heavy and properly 4 times a week. I ate 6 meals very on key and followed everything to the MAX.

meh safe enough as a diet if you follow it right obviously but the benefits of keeping carbs outweigh the regime's fat loss potential imo
