BEVERLY Ultimate Muscle Protein
After hearing so much positive chatter about Beverly's UMP I figured it was time to check this out. You can tell how good a company flavors their products by testing out Vanilla. This flavor is usually hit or miss with most companies and let me tell you this one does not disappoint...would I purchase this again...HELL YEAH! This vanilla is fantastic very smooth and creamy tastes like ice cream. Now for the profile 90% MPI by protein weight. Milk protein isolate being the first ingredient was my reason for purchasing this protein. I've been reading up on MPI and seems to be the most beneficial protein choice for bodybuilders. This protein is very low in fat calories carbs and cholesterol and provides 20 grams of protein per scoop (31g) I used a blender with 3oz of fat-free milk 3oz of water and three ice cubes came out perfect. Texture is one the thicker side which is perfect for me I prefer a thicker shake. 30 servings per tub at one scoop. Prices range from $35.00 to $40.00 this seems to be the only drawback. If you have the extra cash I highly recommend this protein. UMP is one of the best tasting vanilla proteins I have tried. No bloating or stomach issues noticed perfect for those who are lactose intolerant like myself. They offer this protein in two other flavors Chocolate and Cookies & Cream.
Taste: 9/10
Profile: 9/10
Mix: 10/10
Servings: 8/10
Price: 6/10
Thumbs Up To Beverly International...Final Rating 8/10.

well i try to help out when i can
i too dislike the pricing, but figure this: damn near no protein on the market meets the macros they claim, beverly and XF do. most proteins are flown in from god knows where with who knows what contaminates, Beverly and XF are US sourced.
Its just slightly over a dollar per 20g of protein, I wish there would be a tad more fats such as in UP2.0, BUT, as Beverly always recommends, add in heavy whipping cream or olive oil. I may try macadamia nut oil as NOW sells it for half of what Species sells it for.
The thing that sucks is cream and oils cost add up quick too

Look into Mass Aminos, alongside PeptoPro this is the best gram for gram protein Ive seen.
As long as you stick to UMP, Muscle Provider, Mass Aminos and Ultra 40 you will be getting solid products at reasonable prices. I feel some of their other products, while effective, are too expensive for what the raws are providing.

I disagree, I got the chocolate flavor and it was merely ok. Maybe 7/10.. not terrible, but not good enough that I thoroughly enjoyed drinking it. The price did not justify the product in my opinion and there is little evidence that high% isolate protein powders are in any way more effective than blends.

glad I can help you out here guys
the blend is 90% mpi is fact, the 80/20 fast/slow is just some marketing and assumption.
To clarify, the MPI is comprised of casein (dominantly) (slow) as well as some whey (fast), then add to that the 10% of the blend that is everything after MPI is also primarily casein based rather than whey. I hope this helps you realize the calcium caseinate is a small part of this blend. They use it for flavoring and texture purposes, not because its a good protein source (cuz its not in comparison to MPI, WPI, Micellar, etc).
Let me know if you have any more Q's, Im pretty knowledgeable on the raws aspect of the industry. Beverly, like XF, are ahead of the pack due to the quality of their raws.

Beverly Muscle Provider>Ultra Peptide WHEY>whey concentrate (in terms of quality)
Ultra Peptide 1=Beverly UMP (in terms of quality)
lol, Im such a shill for XF and Beverly, Im answering more PMs about their products than my own brand!
also, cool username, he has made quite the hollywood comeback and seems like a reasonable guy rather than a tool
