Should have had at least one Sandow. His aesthetics blow away that of any other competitor to ever step on the stage IMO. I don't think there is any current pro who could beat him if bodybuilding wasn't all about mass but about what the name says: building a body. And Flex Wheeler in his prime was perfection.

yeah he definitely deserved to win. his symmetry is unmatched and his conditioning was also top notch. he was just overshadowed in that decade by other greats.

Let's see...Flex retired in 2000 after being diagnosed with kidney failure. In 98 and 99 he was runner-up in the Olympia, took 3rd in 2000, and also won the Hungarian Grand Prix and the ASC in his final year.Originally Posted by siersy
