    plate loaded squats

    for the past 6 months, I have been doing plate loaded squats all wrong... today before I started, this body builder told me to go all the way down, until the release handles touch the floor...and to bend my feet a little (going outwards) so I dont put pressure on my knees....I did 4 sets.... brb I cant feel my legs right now... feelsgoodman.jpeg

    reason I do plate loaded is cuz I ****ed up my back, and every time I use the bar for traditional squats I end up hurting my back... this way I can do 2 45s and a 25 on each side...with the bar I can only do 2 45s on each side....

    anyone else do plate loaded ?

    Sounds like you had **** form for normal squats too. I find if you don't angle your feet outwards you can't squat as low and use more back.

    I do them, but not as a replacement for normal squats, but on top of.
    Bench: 450lbs
    Squat: 585lbs
    Deadlift: 705lbs
    Bent Over Row: 440lbs

    yea, but I fuked up my back doing deadlifts...I havent done barbell squats for a long time..cuz im trying to let my back heal ....thats why I also havent done DL for like 6 months...I do hyperex. instead... hopefully soon I can start barbell squats again...this time with good form...

    on the machine I can do 45/45/25 on each side.... ..

    on barbell squats I can do 45/45 << 2 plates on one side, 2 on the other....

    You should be "squatting" like 5 plates a side on the hack squat machine if you are free squatting 2 plates (per side).
