Football Neck Roll restrictor?
I was just curious if anyone knew where I could find those neck rolls that extend almost to the top of one's helmet? I see em in the pros with the POWER symbol on them but aren't exactly sure what the official name of these are. If anyone could assist me that would be great I am in need of one in a month's time before football camps begin.

Thanx
Where can I find this Dick's place at? I know about the eastbay.com one which is a cramer collar and the cowboy collar but I am looking for the collar made by riddell for Power football pads. It is the tall restrictor up the helmet. And it isn't at riddell.com I looked already. Like the one Brian Cox used to wear.

I don't want the cramer collar or cowboy collar. I am looking for the big collar made by riddell Power. It is not at eastbay.com sorry but I have said this several times.

no, hes not talking about abutterfly restrictor. There are many places to buy butterfly restrictors. Hes talking about the one that terell suggs has, and bryan cox had. Its made by riddel, its very hard to find.

I have an idea has to what you are looking for and think I've come across one. The one I linked below hooks up to the Riddell neck roll. Making it extended. That is, if I read everything correct.
http://www.riddell1.com/catalog/prod...ae74eb386de6f1
Hope that helps.

I dont see a big difference, all they do is restrict stingers and secure your dome and neck. Terrell Suggs used something like a butterfly restrictor. They exist for tha same purpose, but tha one Suggs had probably cost alot more.

yea, thats the one on teamskyline.com thing. Terrell Suggs doesnt use anything like a butterfly restrictor, he uses the moth restrictor. THe only thing is, its not $200. All those prices for some reason are inflated a crap load. I found the prices of a lot of those other products at a much much much cheaper price.

Those things are sweet, you look so cool with them on. Too bad they are so uncomfortable, what position do you guys play? I play on the line, offense and defense (center and tackle), and I find it hard to be able to look up when I wear a cowboy collar. What ar eyour experiences?

i play linebacker and guard, i need the cowboy collar......its not just for show, although i would much rather have that other one that suggs has or a butterfly restrictor, by the way, our school pays for the freakin cowboy collars, not me, lol.

The only restrictor i'd get would be tha butterfly. I used it before and it didnt cause any trouble. But i still think too many players get it for no real reason.

There's a simple reason. People do whatever the guys on TV do. For example, if a great running back started playing with no shoes and remained great (doubtful), you'd start seeing the trend at high school and college games in no time at all.

Its not really what the pros do.. its what makes you 'look' tough i think. A lot of kids wear it so they look huge, a bunch of friends were like u should wear a cowboy collar cause ud look insane. not to sound cocky, but i personally would rather kick ass and be tough than look tough...a ton of kids put eye black and **** to look scary and crap..not to be able to see in the sun.. my 2cents

very true, and i guess that has part to why i wear a cowboy collar. Although, not trying to be a pussy, but i dont feel safe without one, and it takes away from my reckless abandon mentallity on the field. By the way, footballplaya90, what school u play for? I play on Strong Island as well

bellmore jfk, ive actually been apart of the "winning tradition" here, if you know how bad our school has been in the past at football. Im a soph., guard and middle linebacker, starting both ways next year, 6'0 215. U? I see from your size and height your pretty damn big. lol

Thats in nassau right? Well this year Commack was horrible, and i had an ankle injury my first game of season. 6'5 275-280, 5.2-5.3 speed. I play OT/DT and start both sides. Im bein recruited by a ton of colleges, majorily D1-AA right now and a few D1 but it all depends on senior year. If i stay healty (pray to god) I got a shot of winnin the Zelner award (best linemen in suffolk county). This year totally blew, but I did come back with 2 games left and pretty much raped. Our team next year might goto playoffs, the way so far were workin and liftin we got a shot. The one thing with my team in the past was dedication, the lack of it. Now what we lack is pretty much nothing. Everything is there now.

wow, talk about coincidence, same exact thing with our team. First year actually in a long, long, time we've had dedication on this team, especially over the winter. Mainly due to our new coach this year, who is jacked, and played college football(D-1AA), and was a sick linebacker as well. Hes been our strength coach, and is also our shotput/discuss coach. Well, as far as recruiting for me as a sophmore, ive gotten plenty of camp invites from big schools, and d-3 letters of interests. The schools rite now that have shown a lot of interest from their coaches and recruiting coordinators have been, central connecticut state(d-1aa), and to my astonishment, Illinois(D-1A). Ive gotten camp invites from hofstra, stony brook, maryland, illinois too, clemson, and bethany college, cant go to most of them because theyre during school. Which camps are you going to over the summer? You sound like a really good prospect, 6'5 275 is awesome. A lot of those schools will probably be scouting me this upcoming junior year, and some also heavily recruiting. Ill be benching over 300 by the time the season starts, so ill be in top notch shape. Right now im being called a "physical specimen" by everyone, lol, but that was all due to hard work. Good luck bro, you sound like a freakin monster, hope to see you at a camp over the summer.
