    A lot harder because you have to stabilize your whole upper body using your core+ legs. You also have nothing to lean against while standing up like you do on the seat.

    alot harder dude. i do seated shoulder press with 45 lbs but when i tried standing couldn't even do it with 30 lbs. lol

    You're not. That'd be a push press or a jerk. If you're goals are shoulder strength and mass, DO NOT use any momentum from your core or legs.

    You're "allowed" to use your legs, but that's a completely different exercise, and trains mainly for explosiveness rather than mass and strength.

    That's debatable. Seated prevents using any cheating like a lean back (or using legs, as previous mentioned), whereas Standing is not only great for shoulders, but for core development and balance. I'd recommend standing press, but you should pick the one that suits you more.
