thanks, feels good to have actually made one of my all time goals. and by the look of your 455 a while ago, I bet it's your turn pretty damn soon.
I think I gave up on reps, I usually only rep the few logs I follow which isent enough to refresh it, I'm happy livin in poverty rep land.

I've been thinking about Coans the last few days.... the main issues are since I suck at higher reps, week 1 actually looks the hardest to me, even when I use my 3 rep max as a 1rm. Never really tryed incline bench before either. 285 max puts me at a 315x1 after 12 weeks..... I'd be super happy with that. I might end up doing this / ort mag for deads when Wick does it.

Coan's bench week 1, using the online calc, I'm using 285 as my max.
first 200x10 and im tired already.... lol, second set was hard, im sweating and out of breath, this sucks, its like a real workout.
close grip is just as terrible, the worst part is if I survive today, I have to do this all over again next week
i'm using the most pussy angle my bench does for incline because im a pussy.
i havent been sore from any workout in, perhaps years ? I can tell already that my tri's and chest are gonna be in crippled status soon.
sooo... I hate incline and I dont know how to do it / feels terrilbe / unnatural / gay, this isent going to work / 10......
squat warm ups feel like sh!t..... I blame incline bench.
being a whiny bitch today, just gonna do my squat doubles and call it a day.
went to do a second single, and tripped over my speaker wire and almost broke my new laptop... allong with other things pissing me off... got mad and did my triples instead.

Nice, inclines sucked balls for me too, don't worry. Keep plugging away at the bench and close grip bench at the prescribed numbers, and just do what you can on incline, even if it's like 95x10. You could even do incline DB presses if you wanted. The first few weeks were really hard for me when I first ran it too, then it got easy till the triples, then the doubles were way tough, I think that's when I started missing weights.
I really like the look of your Bum ladders, whatever the **** that Canadian craziness is. Once I'm not in Auschwitz mode with my diet I think I'm gonna hit those ladders for my squats, my form just goes to **** after 3 reps anyways.

Not feelin coans bench..... gonna rock some 5 x 5 on bench days and 3 x 5 on squat triple days, see how far I go, then start up bum ladders again for another run at 275+ x 3 again.
5th rep on all sets was slow, but not hard / heavy, just not used to anything over 3.
Squats were VERY comfortable, def had like 3 reps or another 25+ lbs in me if I really wanted to giver one good set.
second set I started pausing my singles because I can.
I didn't eat too well yesterday, and wasent really to excited to lift today, wasent expecting such an easy day.My Powerlifting Journal =

Bench want up fine, 5's shouldnt be a problem with proper rest between sets.
It clicked in today that I have used 405 as part of my warm ups for squats.... dosent seem all that long ago where 405 singles were fails. feeling awesome / 10
First triple = easy.... Not even givener.... ALLOT left in the tank.
solid headrush after my last triple, all went up easy / fast but started to feel a bit tired near the end.

Still sick somehow, not putting this off any longer though.
Snotty nose and cough seem to make set of 5 harder, first set last rep I had to do without breathing due to some nose clogging.
bench worked, no grinders, 245 triples should be easy next time.
Squatting 425 when sick = that aint not bad !

2 sets into bench = not the fastest reps I ever did..... if next week is like this, I wont make my 5's.
finishing up bench = still not feeling strong, every set I know i'll make the triple, but its pretty slow and sh!tty feeling.
Pre squatting notes : been feeling super tired / lazy for the last week..... def not feeling too strong on confident right now, I hope i'm wrong but I can see myself not making my squats or giving up today.
motivated myself by thinking how gay p90x and tough mudder are... made my first triple, 2 to go.

the thought of doing 5 reps today = gay... decided to start up bum ladders for bench again at 250. hopefully get my revenge on 275x3
after my first triple, 250 was b!tch weight.
fact : I can comfortably pause 400+ for long periods of time..... hope this = off the floor strength for deads since I havent done them in months.

Rode ALL day yesterday, tired n bruised, 430 might be rough.....
Bench is feeling pretty comfortable, im sure triples next week wont be a problem.
soooo.... I lost my balance during my first double... and somehow saved it, figured I was falling / dumping the weight for sure... kinda scary. I dont think Im gonna finish this today, not really worth the risk, the weight isent a grinder but I'm just not feeling it today, no big deal.
decided to hit a bitch weight rep PR, never did 315 x 10 before... lol

went back 2 pages on my log to read my comments on last time I was doing 255 triples, last time it was uncharted territory for me, didn't know what to expect, and seemed shocked each week i didnt fail. 255 at least mental seems like a gimme right now, perhaps I'm getting ready for a good bench PR ?

first 430 double = wasent feeling as easy as usual.
I think im hitting a mental wall on squats, might be time to switch to deadlifts for a change. take a run at 600.
I'll probably end up just adding deads to my pull up day, and drop the weight down on squats.... just maintain them at 4 plates or something.
I feel I had an amazing and long run on squats, got up to 425x3, and a 500x1 the first time I ran my Bum Ladders "program" ... Never thought I would do what I did, I'm happy, but time for a break.
