Chest Exercises that won't hurt bicep/shoulder injury?

Let me explain: about 2 years ago I was lifting heavy garbage cans full of sod into the back of my SUV and heard a pop and felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. My doctor told me that the long head of my right bicep tore away from my shoulder. My right bicep is now considerably lower on my arm and about an inch and a quarter bigger than my left bicep. Since I am ancient he recommended that I not have surgery as it could result in not letting me straighten my arm out all the way.

When I do just about any kind of pressing exercise with any significant weight it always hurts my right shoulder area. Also exercises like dumbbell flyes are out of the question as it feels like my arm is ripping off my body.

What kind of exercises would y'all recommend to work my chest but not kill my shoulder? I have been doing bb bench, db bench and cable flyes/presses at lower weights but am looking for something that will work my chest more directly. Thanks!

I tore my bicep off my forearm insertion and didnt have it fixed either.
All I can tell you from experience is just do what ever you can to work around it with whatever doesn't bother it.

Go see a new doctor. Reattaching it is really your only recourse.
