    drinking water before cardio

I usually avoid drinking water before and during my workouts because it makes my stomach cramp up when I'm doing cardio. Does anyone else have this problem?

And I will never eat less than an hour before hitting the gym because it gives me the same problems.

Just make sure you don't drink a ton, and only take sips while working out. I usually drink about 12oz of water before I leave for the gym, then carry around my 12oz bottle.

always drink during my workouts.. during cardio I try to limit myself to one half liter water bottle per 45mins of cardio so that my dont get heavy, i notice that if i drink a lot of water during when im running or something i can feel the water in my stomach moving around lol.. while lifting heavy for an hour though i can go through a 1.5 liter bottle easily..

Yup, it happens to me if I drink A LOT of water before cardio. Many times happened to me that I drank more than 18-20 oz of water right before starting to jump the rope, and my stomach was very heavy.
I think it's better to drink little by little and not a lot in one sitting if you're going to do cardio.

drink WARM water. if the water is close to your own body temp your body doesnt have to do anything to it to ingest it (pretty much) so you can drink before and during workout.

    hope that helps
