    5/27 Cardio

Well I had to change it up a little bit yesterday because I got home late from my second job. Instead of going to the gym and doing a leg workout, I did my cardio. No worries though because I have the next 4 days off from mowing. I will be hitting my legs up after work today and then arms/shoulders Sunday and Monday chest/back.

    Special Note

I posted this in Incline's thread so if no one has came up with this idea then I will be the first. After I got done doing my cardio I took my AfterMath and put it in my shaker. Instead of mixing it with water, I mixed it with Rain Berry Gatorade. MMMMMMMM good. It mixed very well and the taste was unexplainable. Now for all you people out there on a very strict diet I have some numbers for you. 10 oz of Rain Berry Gatorade has 60 calories, about 120mg sodium, 35-40mg potassium, 14-16g carb and 14-16g sugar.

    Food Intake

    5:30am 4 eggs+protein shake
    7:30am multi-grain bar
    10:30am 1 bowl raisin bran
1pm sliced ham sandwich/can of peas
    5pm chicken/salad
9:30pm AfterMath mixed with 10oz gatorade
    10pm 3 egg omelete/cheese/hot sauce

Can't wait to do squats today it has become one of my favorite compound movements.

    Sunday Cardio

Sunday I took it kind of easy and did a 4 mile run. It was kind of hot so I sweated majorly. But as soon as I got home I drank my Aftermath with gatorade and I felt tottaly refreshed and rehydrated.

My food intake was the average normal day.

Alright, today I am going to change it up a little bit and just stick to a bicep and ab workout. I have never tried this before but I always believe in changing it up every now and then. I'm hoping this will give me more pump and vascularity in my bi's because I will only be focusing on them instead of also my shoulders.

I had to stop doing shoulders/bi's on the same day because my movements incorporate my delts and the pain in my shoulders was really hindering my workouts.

I hear you there. It was nice to just focus on my biceps for a change. I was able to move more weight.

    Tuesday Biceps/Abs

    Workout Biceps/Abs

    DB Curls 40 1x8 45 1x8 50 1x5 45 1x5
    Hammer Curls 35 1x8 40 1x7 45 1x5 35 1x8
    Camber Curls 70 1x8 80 1x8 90 1x8 100 1x8
    Preacher Curls 80 1x8 90 1x8 100 1x8 110 1x8 120 1x6
    21's 1 set with 40lb BB 1 set with 50 BB
    Weighted Cable Crunches 150 3xfailure
    AB Crunch Machine 120 3xfailure
    Hanging Knee Raises 1xfailure

    Special Notes
This was the first time I only did Bicep/Abs in a long time. It felt good to change it up. I also thought it was a little easier for me to control my movements because my shoulders weren't beat from working them out on the same day.

    Food Intake

    6am 4eggs+coffee
    7am multi grain bar
9:30am 1 bowl of raisin bran
    11am 1 banana
    1pm 6oz hamburger no roll+chef salad
    3:30pm gym
    4:45pm AfterMath
6pm small bowl of pasta with hot sauce+salad
    9pm cottage cheese+protein shake

    Special Notes
I'm really enjoying the AfterMath. I don't really get any extra vascularity like one of the other loggers says he does, but it always quenches my thirst and leaves me feeling full for a while.

Very nice job on the heavy preacher curls!

I just mixed 16oz of the berry rain gatorade with 2 packets of blue raspberry AfterMath and it was VERY refreshing and tasted great. Had to use 2 after legs today.

Yesterday was a cardio day for me. After I was done mowing for the night I went home and did my P90X plyometric's disc. I love it because it's convienent for me to do after a long day of work. As soon as I was done, I downed my AfterMath. I woke up this morning and felt great. Usually after my session with plyometrics the next morning my calves are soar from all the jumping.

I will post my food intake for yesterday in a little bit.

10am 1 bowl of raisin bran
    1pm ham sandwich/green beans

I don't know if you drink coffee or tea while working but usually just having some tea and an orange cuts it for me pre workout. I just started working 8-530 on weekdays so I bought some white flood a few weeks back to take before I lift at night, it has helped a ton..

Other than that I think it helps to take 5 minutes, close your eyes and kinda relax between work and the gym, I do that and it helps my brain clear out ya know

I usually just sip on water during my workout. I am going to try the 5 minute clear my mind thing next time. Lately now that my workouts are at night I have been bringing my IPOD touch with me and cranking some hard rock to crank me up.
