Hello everyone, I have come a very long way since I first started my transformation and even from when I first joined this site. I was over 369lbs in early 2008 and have now gotten to where I stay between 215-220 for the past couple of months. If you want more detailed info and more before and after pics check the thread in my sig.
Just wanted to put up these pics of me at the top of my favorite mountain (Franklin Canyon).
First pic was taken 3-12-10
Newest pic was taken today 5-25-10
Let me know what you think! I am working hard every day to get stronger, leaner, and faster.

Amazing
That's awesome man! Congratulations... That is a huge change that you have made since you started in 2008. Keep up the hard work!
Learn something new. Do something different. Test yourself. Confront your true capacities. Instill dedication by threatening yourself with a penalty for failure. Take away the safety net to compel better performance.

Thanks everyone! It feels amazing to be able to do this. I never thought I would come this far, and now I feel like this is only the beginning.
My trainer showed me a new workout program that I will be implementing and started with last week. Going to be hitting it even harder in the next few weeks since I got my best friend to agree to train with me me 3x a week.
Hypertrophy phase 4-6 weeks rep range of 8-12 depending on exercise/weight
Strength phase 4 weeks rep range 5-8 depending on exercise/weight
Power phase 3-4 weeks rep range 2-6 depending on exercise/weight
Active Rest phase 1-2 weeks just cardio or light weight exercises
Compound lifts will be kept on the lower side of the rep range while isolation ones will be towards the high side.
I am really looking forward to making some good progress with this in both strength and my overall build.
Thanks for the supportive words!http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=123254471

Hey buddy thanks for checking in! I have been doing really well just got tested in the BodPod last Saturday and it read 21.7%
Since then I have cut down my calorie intake to around 2500 per day, getting in at least 260g of protein per day and still cycling the carbs in accordance with my workouts.
Been doing the Nike Run Club in my area every week (missed this Thurs cause of the Laker game, but did an intense 3mi run + 50yd uphill sprints x15 on the hill my house is on)
I have not seen the trainer who put me on the new periodization program in 3 weeks, and have been training with my best friend who is mixing it up a bit.
Looking like things are getting better, I am hopeful that in 3 months when I do another BodPod test the % will be lower and the lean mass will be greater.
Eventually I would like to get down below 15% but I think that it will take some time.
Tomorrow I am working out with a bodybuilder who competes in shows, and then scheduled next week to work out with a trainer who is ~6'2 300+ lbs @ 12%
I am so excited to keep pushing forward on my fitness goals.
Will post some new pics up as soon as I get around to taking them.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=123254471

I am 8 weeks into a 12 week program doing exactly this 4 weeks hypertrophy, 4 weeks strength and 4 weeks power then 1 week off and repeat. Its doing amazing...great gains and feeling so good
Also a slight twist on the program is that I am taking about 3-4 seconds on the negative and then bursting on the postive. sooo sore but worth it
Good luck bud, amazing results for you so farThe body doesn't struggle to lose weight...the mind does - keep measurements, keep your sanity.
I'm an Englishman living in Canada...oh how I miss a decent curry!
Former skinny fat member @ 158lbs - now 205lbs and 15%. It's been a long journey but a rewarding one.

Still lifting hard and doing a lot of cardio. Actually started upping my cals up to 3200/day trying to build some lean mass and fill out some loose skin. Going to start cutting again at the end of this month when I start back up with classes and have no time to eat enough. Also taking a cardio boxing class which should be fun and a good workout in addition to my normal routine.
The slowing down on the negatives probably works really well, I am going to have to give that a try soon. Thanks for the props and keep up the hard work yourself.
Haha thanks!
