i've dated a 20 year old with a baby....was absolutely no problem for me...i was 17 she was 20....she had a little boy so that made it easier on me than if she had a girl...i knew how to bond with a boy ya know? football, basketballs, baseballs lol......but if you're a mature adult then the kid shouldn't be an issue...i actually enjoyed the little guy....the girl i dated lived on her own, so it was often just her, the boy, and myself hanging out on a given night...the girl i dated realized i wasn't the baby's father so i didn't have the responsibilities of a father...your girl will need to realize that as well...and whatever responsibilities you put on yourself (e.g. take the child to daycare for her) is strictly voluntary and definitely not be required of you......


anyway it really wasn't bad whatsoever but i'll list the negatives (if you want to call it that) of what i dealt with:
- made it difficult to get laid whenever i wanted...seriously...don't be banging around the kid, its disrespectful....not saying i never did, but try to avoid it
- dates sometimes got a little bit more $$...if i took the girl out to dinner the child came too...and of course i paid for both...same with the movies and such
- mothers days: my girls 'baby daddy' was a dead beat so of course i bought flowers and gifts on mothers day FROM the child TO his mother
- birthdays : you need to get the kid something for their birthday
- christmas and other holidays: same thing..you should buy some gifts....

spending money on the child i guess wasn't required: but please don't be a douche bag....don't have to go overboard because like its been stated, youre not the father...however, its very important that the kid likes you and its very important for you to bond well with them....they'll look up to you so be a man
