Ok, say you get a girl's number, then call her up and she doesn't answer. Then 5 minutes later she texts you saying she's sorry she didn't answer cause she's watching some lame tv show or something and what's up.
Trying to figure this one out. I can understand missing a call, but why not call back? Why send a lame text saying you're watching something on tv? Is that supposed to let me know my place or something? Under a tv show lol?

Are we really doing this? Maybe she's watching it with someone. Oh noes, what if that someone is another guy? Uh oh, what if that guy is feeling her up as we speak!? Ok, stop it! She might be watching a show with someone (not another guy). Now stop being such a nervous nancy about such a stupid little thing.

She could just really want to see the show, and either she is watching it with someone or she doesn't have a DVR. It happens. I've done it, and even ignored calls/texts entirely until it was over.

This is my number one pet hate.
If a girl does this - Absolutely DON'T text her back - she knows who you are, so wait for her to call you back and don't call her again until she calls you.
If she had called back when her program had finished, he would have been none the wiser as to why she didn't answer and she could have pretended that she was doing something important, instead of belittling and irritating the poor guy. Even if she hadn't written that text, he might still have called her again instead of questioning how to go on from there.
Some people lack social skills to the point of being borderline rude (and not only girls). Before mobile phones, the only way she could have spoken to him was to answer or call him back, otherwise she wouldn't have got anywhere.
It's a pity that technology has sent us backwards in many ways.
As the original poster quite rightly pointed out, you don't need to get drawn into it. Write her off... she isn't worth the effort.

Props for doing it like a man.
I wouldn't respond; when she asks what the fuk, tell her you talk and not text. She'll either pick up calls, or realise you're a bit more mature than a 15 year old scene phaggot like she probably is.

wtf op, is this real life?
Also if I were in a theater, same thing goes. I'm not going to answer a voice call like some annoying jagoff.
OP you're overthinking this, especially from a girl that you're not even involved with.
