Building with Bio Forge - Pro Max Edition

Big thanks to THEHUGE for sending me out two bottle to log. I Love Bio Forge and I have used it many times now to get me through the training and it works great every time. Give me the best recovery and the best pumps of any Test Booster that I have tried to date. I am hoping that Pro Max is no exception!
For this log I am going to be running a 5 day split which varies each week on when I train what part and what days I take off. I am not really trying to bulk or cut, but I am eating just a few hundred cals over maintainence and I want to see what Pro Max can do. I am hoping for some slimming and a little filling out, so we will see. I am eating 2800/on 2600/off and this will stay constant. 250/pro 220ish/carbs and 80-90/fat.
Hope you guys enjoy, I will be letting you know as it happens the effects I am feeling! I am serious about my lifting and really hope this aids my exploits!

Day #1

Trained Back on day 1 and even thought I am not "on" yet I still had a killer workout. Added in barbell rows back into the mix now that my elbow can handle it again. Might seem like a lot of sets but this is how I do it, and it has been what has worked for me. About a month ago I trained DC for about 4 weeks and got some good strength gains, now it is back to volume until I feel I might need help adding pounds to the lifts.
Routine: reps(lbs)
Mixed Grip Pull Down: 10(160) 8(170) 8(170) 8(170) 8(180) 6180)
BB Rows: 12(135) 12(185) 10(225) 8(230) 8(225) 12(135)
Machine Pullover: 8(50) 8(60) 8(70) 8(60)

Rack Pulls: 10(225) 10(315) 8(405) 8(315)
Shrugs: 8(315) 10(315) 10(225) - 12(130 DB's)
Calves/Cardio ~ 20min
Macros: Fat(79)g Carb(244)g Protien(260)g Cals(2800)
Comments: When doing pull downs I did 2 sets wide grip, two sets with a narrow hammer grip and two sets with a wide hammer grip. I have also shaved about 20 pounds off my pullover for the machine since if I go too heavy my triceps take over and my lats don't feel it as much. I usually go more on shrugs but the gym was really busy and only have one actual rack, which was wanted so I cut it down to "normal" amount of sets!
any comments on training and diet are welcome and wanted! Always looking for ideas! I eat carbs mostly for breakfast/pre workout and post workout. Proteins and fats the rest of the day for the most part.

If I had health insurance I would, but I do not and I fear that would be pretty expensive to do. I have never had it done and if I knew of a way to do it that did not need insurance I would have. So no

Day #2

Trained arms today, they felt fine after yesterdays back killer workout so I thought I would train them today. My front right delt was a little strained from doing something yesterday or I was going to do shoulders or chest, and my lowerback wasnt wanting to do legs is I trained arms instead. Overall was a good workout, one area I am trying to bring up to atleast 16. I am sitting at 15 now, and they looking bigger then that from what I am told, in person, but I still want to see 16 inches at 10%.
Changed things up today, really wanted to get my Bi's pumped with blood and stretch the fascia as much as I could. I never do the machine preacher so I tossed that in as a good iso. Really isnt my normal arms training routine, I usually will do heavy ez bar work for bi's but just wanted to change it up today.

Comments: This training session looks like a lot but that only took an hour. I go hard and fast and my bi's and tri's are feeling the pain right now. Depending on how my delt feels tomorrow is going to be either legs or shoulders. Might hit up my old gym from where I moved to see how they are doing. Still nothing feeling the BF, but I wont expect to for about 2 more weeks. Not sure if Pro Max hits you faster or not, we will see!

Really, I like to hammer an exercise out till I feel it has taxed the muscle well. Usually I will have 2 similar exercises, the "first round" of rotation of my sets I will hammer the hell out of the exercise to really hit my muscle, then the second round is just to make sure I have really stretched the fascia and gotten max muscle stimulation. I know I'm "done" when I am feeling taxed

Yeh i deff agree with you, today I hit incline press on the smith machine and hammer strength machine. It is different for every muscle but some just take more sets then others. I just gotta stop thinking that it is wrong to do that many sets when I know I need more for a certain muscle. 5 Star thread man

I used to feel that way, but then I started reading and listening to a lot of Dorian Yates things, and also listen to what a few people said about stretching the muscle fascia as a way to get growth and it made a lot of sense to me. So my my goal is to annihilate my muscles once a week. I feel my Diet is good enough to combat any sort of "over training" so I have stayed with it. I used to be very 3 sets of 10 reps then stop. But now I just listen to my body.

Cool man ill deff check some of Dorian Yates stuff. I agree all about listening to the body, i am slowly changing my workout schedule to that. Used to do 6 days a week of every muscle twice but wanna try going to a 4 or 5 day and just destroy the muscle like u said and any muscle that can do more i will add at the end of the week.

Yeh I have been doing a little bit of FST-7 (7 sets of 10 reps 30 sec rest)training and that absolutely wrecks especially on leg day.

26 y/o. AX was good, I had stacked it with NXT, which killed my libido at 2 caps per day. AX was good, felt it kick in around 2 weeks, felt great for a week and then it sort of just stayed in the background. Bioforge I tend to feel once it kicks in till I stop taking it, the pumps with Bioforge have always just been unreal to me.

Trained shoulders today. When I woke up I tested my delt to see if it could handle some direct work today. Was much imporved from a few days ago so I decided to give it a go. I only do one direct front delt movement since they get hammered more on chest day I like to really focus on rear and lateral delts.
Routine: reps(lbs)
DB Press: 8(50) 8(50) 8(60) 5(50) (kept it light, didn't want to overdue it)
Face Pulls: 12(100) 12(120) 12(130) 12(130) 10(120)

Comments: Was a good day overall, my delt was a little sore but it didn't hurt whilst training and doesn't hurt right now so I took the chance and it paid off. Tomorrow is going to be leg training. I never usually train 5 days in a row, I like to go 2/rest/3/rest but I have so much going on this weekend I have no choice. I know most people consider behind the neck pressing/pull-downs to be a harsh thing, but I only do it at the end sometimes and I go lighter to only engage my delts and not to strain myself.
My post meal is great, eating it right now. 300grams of Yukon gold potatoes w/ some omega 3 spread (14g) and 6oz eye of round steak. 626 calories 54 protein 48 carbs 8 grams fat, 100% the bomb.
Still nothing to report on the Pro Max, when I can tell you'll be the first to know, also for anyone wondering about Quake 10.0 It is a great Pre and I would for sure check it out, just make sure to weight the servings as it takes 5 scoops instead of 4 to reach the 15.5 gram mark.

Smart taking it easy, I effed my shoulder up last time on bioforge v1 and ended up hurting a lot of my lifts. Playing it cool and being smart will keep yourself from getting injured.
You and I and dwscoop22 should feel our Promax kick in all around the same time.. its interesting to see how the logs are going to play out.
