Not really sure where to post this, if I put it in the misc I would get no serious answers. Anyway, I went on a cut in mid-February till mid-April and lost about 17 lbs, 4-5% BF, and about three inches off my waist. While on the cut my strength stayed the same, and in some cases I got stronger. After the cut I went on vacation and took two weeks off from lifting/gym. I've been back at it for four weeks now and my strength is totally gone. I am making no gains and its like i've never lifted a day in my life (not that bad but you get the point). Anyone experience this, and what the hell to do about it. Is it as simple as taking time? Thanks.
Cliffs: Went on cut, went on vacation, took two weeks off from gym, lost all strength four weeks back to lifting, frustrated.

Lost Strength After Cutting

It's quite normal to lose strength while cutting because most people are in a calorie deficit along with fewer carbs. Are you back to bulking since you came back from the two weeks off? You've also lost 17 lbs of bodyweight. I would imagine it's a combination of diet and bodyweight. If you were in too much of a calorie deficit while cutting you will have lost some muscle and some strength along with it
