Sh*t gets strange at this age huh?
You're past the HS and College kid age group yet most of you aren't yet at the estabalished, end of fun and start of family man group yet that usually starts around 28-early 30's.
You're stuck right in the middle. How are you supposed to act-- 19 or 30.

yeah, i know what you mean, I just moved to denver when I used to live in the mountains snowboarding all day. I'm mystified as to what people do at night besides drinking. I'm game for going to clubs and dancing on fri/sat but the rest of the week? most of my friends just hang out at friends and drink.

I know 30-40 yr olds that still act like they are in their early 20's, makes me feel better about the fact that im only getting older.

indeed.
im 26. have been workin for a few years now. bought some toys, am more well off than the majority but nothing out of the ordinary really.
i feel you on that...i have some good friends who are 28-35 and the friends i know the longest are within 1-2 years of me. but it's weird
the IN BETWEEN stage..
for example, the other day i met up with some guys who have the same car as me...they were 20 years old! dont even have real jobs, completely different perspective on life
i try and party twice a week, same old you know, but in the past several months i have definitely got over goin out, but i still do it out of habit

im with you OP....
it is really weird. some ppl are established but they are the ones who didn't go to college and just saved money
it's a weird stage because for the first time in your life it's Lame to be the one who is always going out and having fun
it's very strange....
i also noticed that I have no desire to make new friends any more.

Man I gotta admit.... I still call people, "kid" even though they're adults... I still (mentally) feel young, like I'm just a freshman in college, even though I've been out of school for 2 years now.
And sadly, I finally understand why many men prefer girls who just barely finished high school... they still have low mileage compared to the 25+ year old women.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله Ùˆ أشهد أن Ù…Øمد رسول الله

ages 24-28 should be the time of your life. Should be financially secured enough to move out of your parents' house. Your body is still at relatively prime form; once you turn 30, it starts to get noticably bad.
