No added sugar normal peanut butter - good?

My supermarket unfortunetly doesn't sell natural PB. The nearest thing to it is a no sugar added peanut butter. Says low GI on the label as well. The thing is, it still has the oils people say are bad.

Would this PB be okay? The only natural peanut butter I can get my hands on is one that costs 7.99 + tax and has 24 servings, each serving being one tablespoon.

People don't usually look out for added sugar in peanutbutter, they look for hydrogenated oils and trans fat. If they didn't add sugar, thats a plus, but try finding natural peanutbutter without transfat or hydrogenated oils.

do you only have one supermarket nearby? You can also order PB's online and get good ones for less than 8 dollars a jar.

you can get a 5 pound tub of natural peanut butter from naturally nutty for 25 dollars on their website. That is not the cheapest one but they are my personal favorite. I don't think many people on here have tried it... and i am not to be mistaken with naturally "more"

Yeah, that's the thing. Are the trans fat really that bad? Would it really make a difference if it's natural or not?

OP said the peanutbutter wasn't natural. Non-natural usually means they have added trans fat from the hydrogenated oil they put in. Could be wrong, but thats how I understand it.
