After seeing Ronnie pressing 200lbs dumbbells like they were nothing it got me wondering just how much the strongest PLers bench with dumbbells (flat bench) and why exactly they're just SO much harder than a barbell??

    Goals:

    140kg squat
    180kg deadlift

I have actually only had the chance to use a 160lb dumbbell...All the LaFitness gyms around Orlando only go up to 125lbs.

I am not a powerlifter, but I have pressed 170's for 3 clean reps (touch chest and touch the DB's together on each one) at a bodyweight around 205 lbs.

In general I have noticed that most poeple can DB press the same amount of weight that they can add to a bar, for example someone who can bench press 225 lbs x 5 can probably DB press around 90 lbs x 5. If this ratio is true then you would have to be a 400+ raw bencher to handle 200's.
