It seems like most people drink their whey with water and I'm curious what the advantages are. I am currently taking ON Whey with milk and am getting approximately 40g of protein per shake. This is nice especially during the school year when I'm working a lot and taking a full load of classes and it's hard to find time to cook. So could someone tell me the advantages of taking whey with water and the disadvantages of taking whey with milk. Thanks!

I've yet to try a protein with water that tastes better than mixing it with milk. I LOVE milk. The ONLY time I mix protein with water is when I bring powder in a shaker to the gym for post workout if I'm not driving home soon afterwards.
Don't tell me what you want to do, do it.

Don't stress out about either. Use whichever you'd like. If you need to save the calories or only have water available then use water. If you like using milk then use milk. You're not gonna notice differences in your gains.
