    Taking BCAA and Creatine? Does it defeat the purpose?

    Im taking BCAA right now but not seeing the size I want but am shedding the fat with that CLA and a clean diet but my question is will I just defeat the purpose of the BCAA if I start taking creatine again? Since it does put on water weight?

    Creatine use does not always result in water weight retention. Also, isnt the idea in losing weight to lose fat?

    BCAAs do not cut fat off of you, they help you with recovery and help to retain muscle mass during a caloric deficit. Creainte also helps to retain mass during a cut, so no it would not be pointless or against what you are doing.

    If you are cutting fat, you will not gain any size. It's extremely difficult(Almost impossible) to put on muscle while cutting fat, especially if you are not juicing. So, BCAA's will help you maintain muscle, but if you want size up its gonna take a calorie surplus.

    This post has sooooo many things wrong with it. First you act like BCAAs are supposed to make you get huge. Then you act like they're supposed to make you lose fat. Then you ask if creatine will "defeat the purpose of BCAAs" (which I'm pretty sure you have no clue what that even is). My first advice to you is to read up on what everything you're taking does. Search bb.com and these forums and see what you can learn.

    Secondly, do you want to gain size? Eat more. Do you want to cut down? Do what you're doing since it's apparently working for you. You're not going to do both at the same time...deal with it. Pick one and go balls to the walls.
