    What BODY SHAPE Am I?

    Hi everyone.

    My question is in a thread I started on a Student forum. I have links to pics on there, so I thought it would be best to post the link to read the post (and some of the harsh responses I received - I can handle those, though). I know I am not a pretty sight, but I am working on it. At least I am doing something about it. Here's the link:

    So, the question is am I more apple or pear shaped? I really want to get down to 20% body fat, not sure how much weight I'd have to lose. If you could reply to my question about body shape and add any other advice or tips I would be grateful. Thanks. I would appreciate it if you didn't compare me to Jabba like one guy did on that thread. I've read enough 'you're fat' comments on that forum, I don't really need to read more on here...I know I am and I am working on it. :-)

    You look like a pear to me, you tend to store fat in your hips/thighs. You seem to have a small upper body, apple's tend to have huge backs and no hips at all.

    Thanks. Just gotta keep at it. Any advice regarding working out? And judging by my stats, what would be a good target weight to be at around 20% BF?
