    best protein powder for cutting

Just looking at the macros for ON, and a couple others and ON doesn't fare too well - I usually look at the amount of protein, carbs, calories per serving particularly -- and myprotein beats ON for each...but ON is the 'best' on the market? just wondering if it's just a better powder for bulking?

120 calories, 3 grams carbs and .5 fat is too much for your cut? What the heck are your goals for this cut?

i use a lean protein that tastes like a cheat meal

myofusion is the only protein i use, and sometimes if i'm feeling lazy i'll use ultra-peptide 1.0 or muscle pharm combat powder before bed

skimping on a protein powder and going my the lowest macros will usually mean you get a protein powder that is thin and not very satisfying

If you're looking for a nice protein blend for a cut, take a look at Betancourt's BIGBLEND. It has only 120 cals, 3g of carbs (0 carbs from sugar),and 2g of fat per scoop, so it should easily be fit into any cut.

Is 3g carbs going to make that much of a difference on your cut?

ON is a great protein for cutting or bulking. It really doesn't have enough additional carbs compared to other brands to make any difference in cutting though. I mean, it barely has ANY carbs. LOL

I love how people make such a big deal about the exact macros of their protein powder and that will spend so much extra for "protein for a cut" that has 0 carbs instead of 3, and will spend much more money on it. Lets be realistic here, 3 carbs is 12 calories, do 2 minutes more of cardio and there you have it. Or drop ur other however many calories your eating throughout the day by a tiny bit. I buy the cheapest protein I can find and have never had problems. Cutting bulking or whatever im doing. Hey, i guess if you got the money buy the most revolutionary protein but get everything else on point the difference its gonna make is minute. I know all you supplement whores arent gonna like that but just my opinion.

I agree; it's all pretty much the same - I'm looking at the cheapest stuff - ON isn't expensive like a little more than the cheapest...

Thanks everyone for the advice...it's what I needed to hear - it's just I have daily macro targets, the additional carbs from ON is nothing really

    Protein for Cutting

I know this thread is a little old but I read it when I was doing my own research, so I figured I would post my experience using different protein powders for cutting cycles since. Personally, I have found the absolute best protein for cutting is Vectron from *********. I double the serving to get a minimum 20 grams of protein, but the other ingredients make this an amazing way to maintain and build muscle mass while losing significant body fat. I don't even drastically change my diet or add a ton of cardio while cutting, but have seen great results when changing to this protein. All flavors taste great, it is reasonably priced, and it mixes super easily with no clumping at all. It is absolutely, hands down, by far, the best protein powder to use during cutting cycles.

In addition, two others proteins I found worked well while cutting were IsoPure and Syntha-6 Isolate.

    Hope this helps!
