is it overkill to do insanity or p90x as extra for cardio.

is it overkill to do insanity or p90x as extra for cardio. I was planning on doing either p90x or insantiy as a cardio, Is it worth my time to do it. I painly want to it burn some calories and cut some body fat pertenage. Also how to I improve my flexablality and balence. I already workout at the gym 6 days a week for 1.5 everyday.

Honestly in my opinion I think If you workout 6 days a week for 1 in a half hours and you added p90 x or instanity that would be too much on you. Some suggestions would be to just start doing more crazier workouts at the gym and being creative. But if you really wanna do the p90 x or insanity then I would lift 3 days a week and do that.

OP people are surely going to tell you that IT IS GOING TO ME TOO MUCH FOR YOU... But what do they know? Seriously, you should know your body bettter than any other dude. You decide if it is 'too much, or not' If you wish to try , go ahead, you won't loose anything. If you decide to stick with it, just be smart, take a multivit, fish oil, whey after workouts and sleep well.

BTW do you think arnold ever said ' O no ima queer out because 100 lunge-walks are too much.

    No
    word.

It's obviously too much for him. All I see is that he's lost fat and barely gained muscle. I would go down to 3-4 days a week, 1 HR MAX. And no, forget P90X or cardio. Change your diet and patiently you'll lose fat and gain muscle. If you really wanna do cardio, I'd say twice a week 20 minutes MAX, otherwise too much cardio will result in little or no muscle mass.
