Anything better than 50 cents per pound is a deal. I flip all my spare plates for 60 cents per pound, but I don't have much competition in my area.
Also, it is particularly difficult (in my experience) to find 100 pounders that cheap.
Deep dish are always nice, especially if they are milled!

Considering there were a couple 100 pounds plates, that's a pretty good deal. I don't like buying used weights for more than around 30 cents per pound, but would definitely pay more for 100 pound plates.

Probably not horrible price wise but I'm not seeing safety arms there. For your safety your better getting something with safety arms/spotters.

Yep, not to mention it looks huge for what it does/has.
You could probably get it modified to add safeties, but then you're looking at paying more. You may just want to hold out, or give them a low ball offer of like $100. The whole point of a decent rack is the safety measure it provides. That one just looks like a two sided old school structure which you'd use with people spotting each other.

Not a bad deal, although I've seen vertical leg presses go cheaper on craigslist. Sellers seem to have a hard time finding buyers. But if I was close to that deal I'd think long and hard about it, especially since it comes with 200 lbs of weights.

Anyone have an opinion on this deal? A set of 20,25,30,35,40,45,50,60,70,80 dumbbells made by Power Systems, with rack, for $500. They are all steel with chrome handles. The owner is firm on the price.

    $0.67/lb with a "free" rack.

are they pro style or hex?

If they're hex, I'd say it's good but not great. If they are pro style, I'd say it's a very good deal.

They appear to be pro style, but I'm waiting on more photos from the seller. I say appear because I caught a glimpse of 2 dumbbells on a rack, that happened to be in a photo for a power rack for sale.

I have for sale a forever lever belt (black). It was used for a total of about a year. This is a heavy duty belt made for serious lifting. It is size L.

Price is firm. This is $27 off retail with no shipping (http://www.inzernet.com/detail_belt....ERBELT_LEVER13).

This is a nice belt and is built to last and protect your back.

I lucked out and got one of these when I picked up a set of York plates, barbell, and weight tree. I can't say enough good stuff about this belt.
I was never much into belts, I owned one when I was younger that had just a "regular" buckle and I thought it sucked. I rarely could bring myself to use it. Since I have had this, I have had significant gains in squats, dead lifts, and overhead press. It is very comfortable. I have never had a back injury before, and maybe the belt is just acting like a security blanket, but I am very pleased with it. It is easy on/off, and it's great to be able to loosen up without removing it completely just by flipping the lever. Well worth the money.

P.S. The buckle / lever is attached to the belt by screwing it on through two holes in the belt. There are multiple holes pre-punched in the leather, so the size of the belt is very customizable, if this wasn't obvious from the pic.

Thanks to the two posts above! I sent the owner an e-mail to see if it's still available. I've actually never used a belt while lifting. How big of a difference does it make? I do jack my back up a little bit doing deadlift or rack pulls on occasion, so it may be worth it just to avoid some pain.

I need to spread some reps around before I get you two again!

I have 11 pieces of commercial grade 2002 Paramount selectorized strength equipment from the Bloomington Normal YMCA for sale. $100 per piece, you would need to be able to move the equipment.

    Price is negoitable.

Seems like a decent deal for rubber coated revolvers:

I have a chance to pick up this lat/row machine - they are asking $400 which seems a bit high. Looks like it's in good shape - I don't know much about this particular brand though. And I don't really NEED this unit - but since when did that ever stop anybody? haha

Well nuts - I decided to pass on the lat/row machine - then they decided to accept $200. I'm having trouble finding a similar machine online. Anybody know how much these usually go for? If I don't have room for it I figured I'd try to flip it.

200 for that machine is awesome. Problem is that it is large and hard to move.

Wasn't the lat machine from bloomington YMCA????

I would love to have it from my room to replace my standard plate loaded crap.

If you don't want/need it......tell me where to get it as I can't find it listed anymore.

anyone looking to upgrade their bar, this looks like a good one:

Vintage Original York Barbell Olympic Weightlifting Bar Powerlifting Strongman
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/300702413815...#ht_500wt_1202
Even with $55 shipping that is a reasonable price for that bar. Difficult to find a better bar at that price, assuming it doesn't get bid up.
