Started building a home gym and would like to add this to my setup so far, their are no pictures, but before I request pictures I wanted to get some opinions on the price of all of the equipment assuming all is in excellent condition. I feel like it's overpriced at the moment so please just give me your opinions on the price and what I should try to get him down to.

don't do it. no gold's gym, weider, xmark, valor, bowflex, etc. in fact that's how i do my craiglist searches. for example;
bench -weider -golds -gold's -valor -bowflex -xmark -new
also, if shopping on craigslist, never assume equipment is in excellent condition or you'll be disappointed. expect tears, rust, paint chips and offer accordingly. only if seller specifically says to you that the equipment is in excellent condition should you increase your offer.

Alright, so your suggestions for searches on good equipment would consist of weider, golds, valor, bowflex and xmark? Oh yes, I always have the same mentality like you said with the rips and tears, I was just saying in good faith if it was to actually be in excellent condition.

noooo. if you will notice the "-" sign in front of those words. that's a minus sign. my suggestion is to EXCLUDE any equipment that bears those names

Now I'm understanding what your saying. Do you have any suggestions on what equipment brands to look for, or just by cutting those brands out of the search will narrow everything else down to being quality?

The photos are the size of a postage stamp. No description of the plates or bar. Assuming that the plates and bar are the same (low) quality as the bench, the price is average. $125 for a used 300 lb set and $25 for a bench that he can't wait to unload. If you buy it, I would just drag the bench to Play it Again Sports rather than waste time trying to flip it.
In California, it should be easy to find deals on higher quality plates and bars.

I think if you can pick it up tomorrow after work for $100, it would be a good deal.

I'm not totally sure what I'm looking at here - looks like a rack, but I can't find any information on a "shock doctor" rack. Any ideas?
