What's a fair price to offer on the above setup? It's 390 lbs (if my math is right)...I asked him what his cash price was on just weights and then on everything.

I ignore it when people ask what my cash price is. Isn't it posted in the ad?

Just get his address and go over with some cash. Look closer at the pictures. There might be some bumper plates in those stacks...

The bench and "rack" are useless because they are crap. The bar will most likely be crap. The weights are 50 cents/pound max. I'd offer $250 and then try to flip the bench setup with the bar for $120. Keep the weights if you really like them. Also,those aren't bumpers, just weider plates with rubber ring around them. More crap.

Snagged this today, the guy wanted a $150.. He replaced the cables and had all the ends tied. All I did was point out what was wrong and by the time I was done I cost me $100. I'm going to replace the cables, get Olympic adapters and refinish the whole thing to match my other stuff.. Its a SST Fitness.. Out of business for patent infringement....They still have their pulley business.. I figure I will use it for a.while then flip it..

got that body solid cable crossover. a lil rusted but i will tend to it as i can. 250 but it has the pullup things those are over 100 by themselves. i will replace the sleeve ends of the handles and get olympic adapters .

Anyone know anything about this unit? Does not have selectorized stacks but Powertec seems solid and there are some decent reviews online. CL has one for 300 that has sat for a while. Any worth in picking it up or would it be more hassle then its worth. Thanks

Pretty good deal imo. Could easily flip for a lot more I think or keep it to use if you like leverage equipment and its still a good deal.

He already sold most of the EZ lift ones and he only has (1) 45 left. I may buy the rest of them next week (25s, 10s, 5s). I will add that the seller was going to buy some equipment from me, had me hold it all for a week, and then never showed up.

The worst part is that once him and I agreed to a price and time he went out and listed my equipment (even though he had not even picked it up) with my photos, but with new higher prices and his contact information. Ironically this little fact helped me sell all the equipment faster once he did not show up because people who had been considering buying them from me actually got in touch with me. It was a very weird scenario.

Also he is a reseller that reposts daily.

Great deal on some Hoist adjustable dumbbells in the Madison, WI area. They only go up to 45lbs, but it's a killer deal for only $60.

Works great! No longer use. See specifics below:

These dumbbells are made by Hoist Fitness Systems and are marketed as their "Quick Change Dumbbell System".

The base set goes up to 45lbs on each dumbbell. These dumbbells feature slotted plates that you can add or subtract on to the end of the dumbbells to increase or decrease the weights.

Each plates is 7.5 inches x 7.5 inches, and the fully loaded dumbbell is almost 15 inches.

The plates feature four male "connectors" on one side and four female on the other side, so the plates fit into each other when you add them on to make them more secure.

There is a large metal "screw" on the end of each side of the dumbbell that you unscrew and loosen to add or remove extra plates to set your desired weight.

When you finish adding or taking off the plates, you then tighten the "screw" back on to lock in the plates.

No update, but he was in contact and said he had another guy coming to look it over.


First link is a TON of weight (almost 800 pounds) and a sweet curl rack...not a bad price and he's looking to move it all as he's cleaning, so I sent a text we'll see if I hear back.


Second link is also a sweet deal with almost 400 pounds of weight and it appears a smith machine and bench for a fairly sweet deal. In contact with him already, he's got one person coming to view already so we shall see.

There's someone selling the below Powerblocks. They say it's the 90 pound set, but it doesn't look big enough. Maybe they just don't have them completely put together? Anybody know what set this is? I'm having trouble finding an exact match on the powerblock web site. Thanks!
