that is a great deal, esecially if you are looking to add them to your gym. Plus you do not have to worry about piecing a set together. And the two tier racks (there are two of them, aren't there?) are probably worth $100 each.

It really depends on your local market, but there's no way that setup would bring that kind of money here in the Atlanta area. I'd say the rack is worth between $250 and $400, and the bench somewhere between $50 and $75. There are definitely better deals to be had.

I don't have a need for this, or the room for it, but it sure is pretty (Nautilus Half Cage w/Smith):

I'm not a big fan of smith machines - but if it was a full Nautilus rack I may be all over it.

Ok boys, I need some pricing help. I found a guy with some Ivanko stuff and want to know a good price to buy it for. He didnt say what weight they are or anything but here is what he told me:

    7 ft Ivanko Olympic Bar - $150
6 ft Ivanko (Olympic) Curling Bar - $150
    All Bars are black.
I also have an Olympic Fat Bar (from Williams Strength) if you're interested - only a couple years old - $250

Are these good prices?? And what should I offer?

I'd say those are decent prices for the Ivanko bars. I would definatley take a look to confirm what he is selling and see if he'd take less for both of them. Really don't have any info on the Fat Bar. I'd offer 2-250 for both of the Ivanko's

I'm just going off of meory here so I may not be 100% accurate.. I believe the 6' curl bar originally sold for about $185. The version that he is selling is out of production. If you look at Ivanko's website, they are finally about to re-release an "improved" version of that bar. I would use that info as ammo and get the price knocked down to $100 if in perfect condition.
FYI: I got mine for $80 with an original asking price of $125 and that was when "out of production" made it MORE desirable.. His timing for selling (imo) makes it less desireable. and yes, I still love the bar.

EDIT: (I'm not sure about the 7' bar)

My memory was correct about price.. around $200 shipped.

Here's so more info (was in a hurry)..

The Ivanko 6' EZbar being discussed is refered to as the OBZ-40.. It came new with a matching pair of COT1.25 compression collars, so make sure those are included.. They're awesome collars and Ivanko isn't producing them in the black oxide finish anymore, at least individually (wonder if they will still come with the new OBZ-40's???).

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...vanko+curl+bar
Here's an old thread that discusses the OBZ-40 and has some nice pics. This is actually the thread that I used to help identify mine before purchase.

As far as the 7'er goes, I admitedly don't know too much about them but I'd likely spend $150 on one.. As always try to get a few bucks off if you can.

No problem. $200 would be an awesome buy.. even if he counters a bit higher you could still get a pretty good deal.

I purchased my 6ft Ivanko bar from Ivanko in the last couple of years and the collars were not included but had to be purchased separately. They were however included with both the 4ft and 5ft bars. Its possible that these collars were included at an earlier date and that practice had stopped by the time I purchased mine.

Interesting.. I had thought all Ivanko EZ bars came with collars. I also thought that the thread I linked was about an OBZ-40 but it's about an OBZ-30.. Shows what happens when you're in a rush.
