Shoes aren't something that I want to buy second hand and these aren't my size anyway but this is something I haven't seen on CL before and they look cool...

17,000 lbs of plates, including Ivankos (prob O2B) at 50 cents/lb for 500+lbs (65 cents/lb for less than 500 lbs).

Iron Grip plates. The post says 65 cents/lb, but I bought some other plates from this guy and he offered them to me for 50 cents/lb because there hasn't been any interest. They seemed to be in good condition.

I think that's a little higher personally, but they do like they are in good shape. I thought the Ivanko DB's all had Ivanko plates and numbers on the outside weight plate (I could be wrong)? A lot of people would pay up to $1/lb for Ivanko weights - but I'd stop at $.75 myself....

It certainly doesn't suck!
I'd rather have those Ivankos than the CAP plates you typically find available used for .50-.60 per pound.
They are good quality, old school iron. I think they look great.

And besides their looks, they tend to be much more accurate. I have had CAP "45s" weighing anywhere from 42lbs to 48lbs. All my Ivankos were within 1lb or less of designated weight.

It is a decent price, but the spotter arms aren't the longest. A power rack would definitely be better/safer for squats. For bench, this should be more than enough though. It does have longer spotter arms than most of these types of racks, so that is a plus. I would at least offer $150 to see what he says, but a full rack would be a better investment imo.

Did someone here pick this up? I put a bid in on the "make an offer", and in the meantime, someone used the "buy it now" and got it. I am kicking myself for not just buying it. Even though it would have been an 8+ hour drive each way, probably worth it.

Hopefully someone here scored it.

I am sure that we will soon see some local post that they need a rack and nothing ever shows up in their area. You know how it is around here.
