Anyone know what model Body Solid Bench this is?

Here's the seller's description: Body Solid Military / Incline / Flat / Decline Bench.
He's asking $125 or best offer, which seems like a good deal, but I'd like to know the weight capacity before contacting him.

It looks like the FID70, but the front foot section is obviously from a different model. It originally had a long u-shaped foot. Iirc, the FID70 was rated for 1000lbs just like the current version, the GFID71.
Personally, I'd try to use the bench's "frankenbench" status to negotiate a lower price. $125 is a fair price for a spotless FID70...but the modification to that one makes it less desirable, imho.Last edited by Stasher1; 03-29-2013 at 12:39 PM.

York plates
Spotted some milled plates on craigslist day before yesterday. Contacted the seller and he said the 45's and 35's said York on them, the other plates had no name. Drove an hour and a half yesterday to look at them. Gave him $300 and took home 650# of York plates, two York bars and some standard bars and weights to boot.

Cybex 5435 Bench on eBay!!!
You might want to email the seller first to check on shipping (He is located in Buffalo, New York), I found another deal on a 5435 bench online right before this one or I would have picked it up. My all time favorite bench, just awesome!!!

Ironmaster db's 120lb
Someone posted the auction here a couple days ago, on eBay for the Ironmaster 120lb db set for $400. Picked it up in Columbus today, plates have typical wear but overall everything looks great for less than 50% retail. Home gym rebuild has begun, hopefully my Cybex 5435 bench will materialize here soon!

Haha, I actually saw the ad randomly checking eBay before I checked bb.com. But it did light a fire under me to place a bid, I was 100% sure someone else would bid it up but I guess got lucky! Now that I have used both Ironmaster and Powerblocks I think I actually like the Ironmasters better. I rarely do drop sets anymore, and the traditional db feel is a nice change!

Here are the photos:
It is not a present day Super Bench, but it may be an old Ironmaster product. It looks like it could be a precursor to the present day Super Bench.
These are the differences that I see from the present day Super Bench:
- The base is silver instead of dark grey or white.
- There are only two seat height positions instead of the three found on the present day Super Bench.
- The incline adjusting ring uses a pin that fits into holes instead of a lever / latch which fits into slots in the ring.
- The Ironmaster logo doesn't appear anywhere (visible in the photos) on the bench. The present day Ironmaster bench has "Ironmaster Super Bench" embroidered on the bench cover. There is also a decal on the base.
Regardless, $45 seems like a reasonable price for the bench.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

Anyone have any other thoughts on this mysterious Body Solid bench? I asked the seller what model it is and the weight capacity, but he didn't know (he did say he's benched almost 300 on it, for whatever that's worth). I'm going to take a look at it today. Seller doesn't sound like he's willing to go down in price though.
