What about this one? philadelphia.craigslist.org/spo/3650490663.html
I'd prefer to have a bench that does incline, flat, and decline, like when you go to the gym, but I think I could settle for just incline and flat.. I don't see many other good cheap options.
Oh, there's also this Bollinger: philadelphia.craigslist.org/spo/3657031510.html. I know the name, but when I looked it up I didn't like the fact that the first searches that came up were about wine.

How far are you from this one?
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/hab/3609638374.html
It appears to be a Body Solid FID70 or FID71, either of which are rated for 1000lbs.
Even this one would be worth a look:

Buy it for $150, keep the bench and relist the rest for $100. The hex dumbbells alone are worth about $125.Last edited by Stasher1; 03-06-2013 at 04:45 PM.

I'm about 50 min from Reading and 1 hr 42 min from Chester. Looks like I'd have to rent a truck or van to pick up the equipment in either though. I'm wondering if it might not be better just to order something online so I can get it in a box. I really do like the Reading deal though. That's pretty nice.

I'd be making the trip to Reading. The hex dumbbells are worth about $125, bench $75-$125 (depending on exact model and condition), standard bars $15-$20 (total), standard iron plates $.50/lb, and the half-rack/lat machine should be worth $50-$100. I'd donate the concrete/plastic weights to Goodwill.
Buy the lot, keep what you want, and flip the rest. That's how a lot of us managed to accumulate the equipment we have, on limited budgets."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Well, I was looking around on other sites and I came across this on Amazon: amazon.com/Best-Fitness-BFFID10-FID-Bench/dp/B000VLPTV8/ref=sr_1_10?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1362624654&sr=1-10&keywords=body+solid+bench. It's sold as a Body Solid bench, but I can't find the weight capacity on it. I'm going to try contacting customer service to see if they know the weight limit from the Body Solid site.

There's a Body Solid home gym for $75 in Minneapolis. It's not my cup of tea but there seemed to be some interest shown in the discussion forums recently.

He's dreaming. You can buy them new for that price. The price he references is high because that website's prices are usually high and the price also includes shipping.
If you need them shipped, Adamant Barbell caps their shipping at $50.

P.S. If you're located in IL, you might want to consider driving to Intek and picking up some of their grip plates. By picking them up you'll save on freight, and you'll have new grip plates for the price of those used Troy plates.Last edited by morebarbell; 03-09-2013 at 01:16 AM.
