When I was just about to be born, my parents had a black lab. He couldn't stand being around my mom during the final stages of pregnancy and eventually became aggressive towards me when I was born. They had to give him up to a neighbor.

When I was just about to be born, my parents had a black lab. He couldn't stand being around my mom during the final stages of pregnancy and eventually became aggressive towards me when I was born. They had to give him up to a neighbor.

She isn't aggressive towards him, but whenever we pay attention to him she always comes flying into the room and bumps into our feet. If the kid is sitting on the bed, she'll jump up and get in front of him to get our attention. It's pretty funny most of the time.

She's getting more protective of him now vs. being jealous like she used to be.

staffordshires are basically the show dog breed of the American Pit Bull Terrier, came to existence in the around the 20s or 30s.

Staffords have stricter bloodlines. My dog would be considered APBT but was a rescue so no papers. However after posting on numerous APBT forums the general agreement is that I'm correct in calling her an APBT.

The bottom dog is a Bull Terrier. Pretty sure u only think thats what people call them or you are mixed up. Breeds of dogs stay the same even over in different countires :/

im serious, where i live nobody calls a staff a pitbull, its a staff and thats that. the bottom dog i quoted where i live is known as a pitbull.

Well its pretty impossible to tell the difference between a staffordshire and a APBT without papers, I mean staffies do have more strict colors and their build is a little more centered around 1 type but its still pretty tough.
