probably a stupid question, but if i lost 2 lbs a week eating just under mantainence but eating slightly dirty(some subway, protein bars, etc). would i risk losing more muscle on my cut then if i ate perfectly clean? or does it really not matter all that much.
basically, what im asking. is if you cut eating junkfood but still lost 2 lbs a week. would that cause you to lose muscle instead of fat?

most likely because the junk food that you'll be eating doesn't have as much protein as the healthy food, but then again that's just an assumption. If you're eating subway and doubling the chicken breast I may be wrong. In most cases, it is better to eat healthier to minimize muscle loss and maximize fat loss. I consider subway one of my cheat meals.(or anything fast food)
