I don't know of any specific routines, but I would imagine that strong triceps will increase punching power, as the tris act to extend the arms. And then there are the usual full-body exercises, such as squats and deadlifts, they certainly won't hurt.

it's all about muscle memory and repetition. there are a lot of factors to consider like hip turn, which generates the most power but leaves you open more if you're fighting someone and is slower. plus, your opponent can see it from a mile away. try to punch from where your arm is; just relax your arm and "whip it" at someone but clench your fist right before impact. also, pretend your target is a little past the actually point you're trying to hit and learn to shift your weight/turn your hips efficiently. it doesnt take a huge wind up if you can use weight transfer properly to generate lots of power and you can do it with more speed as opposed to winding up and them letting it rip. for example, if you're standing with your right hand lead, just slightly, but explosively, pivot your body/hip around your lead right leg while blasting your right jab. punching speed/power comes from good coordination and body control hence the reason repetition and muscle memory helps. form is very important and if you punch a bag a lot, you'll feel what's more efficient. generally, heavy bag will increase power but shadow boxing will increase speed. just remember, your arms are just a means of delivering the force that you generate with your whole body, from the legs, torso, to arm. massive triceps/shoulders/pecs do help but you can improve so much through form.

Focus on exercises like plyometrics, resistance training, and core workouts to enhance kick/punching speed and power. Incorporating exercises like squats, lunges, box jumps, medicine ball throws, and rotational core exercises can be beneficial.

Speed of muscle contraction cannot be “trained”. It exists regardless of what you or your goof coach think about it. Learn moving relaxed, this is where fluidity and speed lives. The actual punch gets speed and power from your legs and torso. When you accelerate from ground up, arm gets heavy, and you will need strength, not “speed”, to launch a lightning fast penetrating punch.
