Once again Glenn Beck is caught lying to the American people to make President Obama look bad. And this is not spin, it's a flat out lie. Now Beck claims the proposed Obama capital gains tax increase will affect every single American who invests. This is a flat out lie, and the very same thing O'Reilly did. Proving they are both dishonest right-wing liars.

Here are the exact words Beck used on his 4-1-10 show:

BECK: He also sought to raise the capital gains tax, which affects every single American who invests, which -- I know that sounds like the big Wall Street fat cats, but if you have a 401(k), that would be you.

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

The Proposed capital gains increase only impacts "Upper-Income" earners. Obama has called for a 20 percent capital gains tax rate on families with income greater than $250,000. Which if passed, would not even happen until the fiscal year 2011. And that is if it even happens, it may happen, it may not.

So Beck was caught lying about something that might happen in the future, and it will only affect people that make over $250,000 a year. So if you make less than $250,000 a year and you invest the tax will not affect you at all.

And btw, only 2% of the people make over $250,000 a year, so 98% of the people WILL NOT pay the increased capital gains tax, if it even happens.

One last thing, Glenn Beck also left out some important info when he was lying his ass off. That proposed capital gains tax increase in 2011, is only on money you invest, so if you make $250,000 or more a year, there is no tax increase on that money. You only pay the extra tax if you invest some money, then cash it in, the tax is paid when you cash in and take your profits.

So even if you make over $250,000 a year and you invest $100,000 in say Gold, you do not pay the tax increase. Until you cash it in and take the profit. And if you make over $250,000 a year, but you do not make any investments, you do not have to pay the tax at all. That means it is not a mandatory tax increase, it's only a tax increase on investments for people that make over $250,000 a year.

Is that really the best those non mainstream sources can do? Yeah, let's split hairs over the little ticky-tack stuff so people will forget about the fact that, in the case of Van Jones as a self-admitted communist and a radical, Glenn Beck drove him from his appointment by Obama by revealing the truth.

Your sources are very, very weak. Why aren't CNN and MSNBC challenging Beck on a point-by-point basis? Or any of the major networks doing stories on how he's nothing but a liar and he is wrong about everything?

On Monday and Tuesday numerous people at Fox News reported that the New England Journal of Medicine did a survey that said 46% of all doctors would quit if the Obama health care plan passes. Then the NEJM put out a statement saying that is a lie, that they never did any survey. So then on Wednesday Megyn Kelly from Fox News reported the truth, that it was not a NEJM survey, and yet Beck went on the air later that day and repeated the lie. After the NEJM said it was not true, and after Megyn Kelly also reported it was not true.

Glenn Beck reported the lie hours after Megyn Kelly reported it was not a New England Journal of Medicine survey. As Megyn Kelly had noted three hours earlier, the NEJM did not conduct the "survey" -- and it was "not a scientific poll."

And yet, Glenn Beck reported the lie anyway. On the March 17 edition of Fox News America Live, host Megyn Kelly noted that the survey "was conducted by the Medicus Firm, which is a national physician search firm." She also added "It's not a scientific poll; it's a survey."

This is about as bad as it gets for anyone in the media business, it's bad enough to report the lie, but it's 100 times worse to report it after they put out a statement saying it's not true, and after one of the people who work at your own network report it, and you still go on the air three hours later and report the lie.

If anyone had any doubts that Glenn Beck is a dishonest, biased, lying, fraud, those doubts are now gone. Because when you do something as dishonest as this, it is a 100% fact that you are a lying right-wing idiot with no credibility. Where are the Beck lovers now, write me and defend this, I dare you.

No he was lying about what the law was supposed to contain. Beck is a flat out liar. I have yet to see anything contradicting this factual demonstration of Beck's outright fabrication. Beck is a king of distortion, hyperbole, half-truth, misinformation, and out right lies. Beck does not provide any valuable information or helpful criticism, he simply is out to create hyseteria and paranoia.

I love how Beck has so little respect for his viewers that he does not even bother to separate the differences between Nazi's and Communist, Beck just assumes his viewers are so stupid they will never catch on to his misuse of each term as one of general disparagement, and the sad part is he is correct. I have even had people argue with me that Communist and Nazi's are the same. The Nazi party despised the Communist and tried to completely eliminate communist both in Germany and in the entire world.

I'm giving him the easy way out with using google. There are plenty of sites that debunk what Beck says using sources and information, not all of them are simply some random guys opinion.

Also, I shouldn't have to explain this to him, he is obviously lacking the intelligence required to think objectively about topics that Beck discusses and do his own research based on the statements Beck makes. It says more to me about his lack of objectivity that he blindly believes Beck even though Beck doesn't post sources on his show, and requires anyone that rebuts him to have 50 sources. Anyone that watches or listens can double check anything Beck says. I have. In fact I've sent him things that he's used. I've met him. He doesn't live far from me. He isn't perfect but if all you've got is 1 or 2 mistakes after THOUSANDS of minutes of broadcast time and you can't see the problem then you are the one that has a problem. That would explain why you are a progressive.
