    Pulled chest muscle recovery

I took a week break from lifting and being excited to lift again, i did as much as i could today. It was chest and triceps day. Now my the left side of my chest hurts (where shoulder meets chest) if i do anything that resembles a chest fly. Its not that bad but uncomfortable. How long will it take to recover?

If this is what i used to experience often, then it will take 2 - 3 days at best, almost like the muscle has a torn feeling to it if you lift?

When i do a chest fly movement while holding something a little heavy (backpack) it starts hurting a little and gets worse then disappears. Feels kind of torn. Its gonna revocer in a week right?

Did I just pull a chest muscle?

I was doing back and bi's last Friday (5 days ago).

At the end of my work out, I was doing alternating hammer curls. As I was lifting up with my left arm, I experienced a sensation similar to what I'd assume was a tear in my left pectoral muscle, near my armpit.

The pain wasn't so acute that I dropped in agony. Instead, I stopped after that set, stretched, and then continued with my work out, which was almost over. I didn't have any pain for the rest of the day.

Over the weekend, a sharper pain developed, and has continued to today. It's more nagging than anything. I haven't lost any function with day-to-day activities. I feel the pain most whenever I do something that would use the muscles I use when doing a chest fly.

I stopped lifting, and have been giving the area rest. However, I'm not noticing any improvement in feeling.

I live in China, and the healthcare in my area is not great, so visiting a competent specialist is not an option.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What type of injury am I looking at? What's my time line for recovery?
