For those of you having trouble with dips, hang in there. About a year ago, I was looking around trying to find an assisted dip station because I could barely do 3-4 dips (I never found an affordable one). Last Sunday, I did three sets with 45 pounds hanging from the belt.
Just stick with them and it'll get better.Trump 2016!

Generally exercises that allow you to move more weight are good, in this case (decline) the range of motion is much less than traditional chest/tricep exercises. It's similar to those people you see in the gym who arch their back when benching heavy so that they can look like they are making complete ROM.

where could one do a "gironada" dip like this one? the pull up station at my gym has kind of a set of angled bars like this...
looks like his hands are kind of in a weird position like his palms facing outward?
I'm kind of burnt out on dips to be honest...I mean I still do em but I feel so much more in my front delts than my pecs. I usually just do 1 45 added so I can do 8-10 reps good form for 4-5 sets, and I go nice and slow and ive tried a lot of different stuff to try and feel it in my pecs more, but my front delts are always toast after them wheras my pecs don't really get hit hard at all. even when I take the weight off and lean forward like crazy (almost horizontal) activating my core and going slow and everything, I still don't feel it as hard as on flat DB bench.Jaguars and Diamondbacks +
