    sleeping problem - lack of nutrients?

    whenever i go on a cut i find it very hard to sleep, im very tired but cant seem to fall alseep.

    any idea what the problem is? lack of calories? nutrients?

    i consume 1800-2200 calories daily, i make sure i get my protein (150-180g) and whatever in carbs and fats to make up the calories.

    help is needed

    I have trouble staying asleep...i seem to wake up at 530-6am every bloody morning without fail. getting very annoying as I am shagged throughout the day.

    It is surely related. When on a low carb diet, your body excretes more then usual amounts of adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol. These are all "fight or flight" hormones which do affect sleep

    This, along with a lower Kcaloric intake comes lower fat intake meaning less dopamine release and lower carbohydrate intake also decreases serotonin production

    what helps me is to get jacked on cough syrup, zma, and melatonin.. im almost comatose from the cough syrup, so i cant wake up from the crazy nightmares the zma and melatonin give me.. its like being in nightmare on elm st! kick ass!

    well i had more carbs yesterday and i slept much better

    meal 1- protein/carbs/fats
    meal 2 - protein shake
    meal 3 - protein/carbs/fats
    meal 4 - protein shake
    meal 5 - protein/carbs/fats

    usually i dnt av carbs in my last meal
