10-15lbs generally. I've been upping my water intake, so its probably higher than that now since a gallon of water weighs more than 8lbs.

Mine fluctuates about 5-6 lbs depending on the time of day and my sodium intake.

Right away in the morning I'm generally 3-5lbs lighter than before I go to bed. Mostly water, I assume since I take a monster morning leak.

Unless you are like 500 lbs, I'm not sure how you could fluctuate that much in one day.

I take it you've never carb cycled either? Are you aware of water weight being bound to glycogen, etc? Once you know your body well enough, you could manipulate your scale weight by vast numbers if you so desired.

If you've ever heard the fat loss adage "the scale lies", this is why.

    This man speaks the truth.

Saturday morning i weighed in at 185, completely depleted of all glycogen (im on keto diet)

Went to pizza buffet, ate my carb up meal which included 22 slices of pizza amongst other things.

Sunday morning i was at 201.

Yesterday morning i was at 186

And im back at 185 right now.........

But this ONLY happens when i carb up......

Now, as far as a "normal" day, my weight fluctuates between 1-2 lbs.

    For me:
"Dirty" high sodium diet, eating out a lot: 5 lb fluctuation
"Cleaner" moderate carb/calorie diet: 2-3 lbs
Low carbs, lot's of water, no eating out: Not much more than a pound or two
Difference between depleted weight and after 1000g carb-up: 3-6 lbs

    2-4lbs
But I don't really worry about the flux, I just make sure and weigh myself when I wake up in the morning. And that's what I go off to judge my weight loss progress.

just finished a bulk phase (about 230 lbs right now) where I put on a lot of muscle. I'm on a CKD diet and I easily can gain 10 pounds in one day during my carb up. If you eat low carbs and are totally depleted, you can gain a ton of extra water weight when you fill your muscles back up. But, just like everyone has said: Don't get caught up in the number: It's just water weight.

I'm in the 3-6lbs crowd when I'm not dieting, and in the 6-12lbs group when I carb cycle.
