Hi
My TDEE with no exercise is around 2300 calories
Today I am having 900 calories from food and 2100 calories from alcohol
This puts me roughly at a 700 surplus, made of calories from alcohol
I have been on a consistent cut for 3 weeks and 5 days before today
My question is will these surplus calories that have came from alcohol be treated the same as if the calories were food? Will it erase a couple of days efforts of my cut this week?
Also, If I were to consume this, then eat another 2500 calories from a takeaway = 3200 surplus, does the body use all the calories I consume to put on almost 1lb of fat or does it not process all extreme amounts of excessive calories?
Thanks

How will a calorie surplus from alcohol effect my cut?

As a student and fitness lover I'd say: Go for it.
Surely, it isn't ideal. Surely alcohol isn't filled with nutrients.
But really, live a little. Throw in a little cardio the day after (I always do) and enjoy.- Slow progress, is progress.
- Losing fat is a marathon, not a race.
- Take care of your body, you've only got one.
- Progressive overload + good form.
