What time do you train @ Night and do you find it hard to go to sleep after??

Heck ya
I do barbell inclines too. If you look back in my upper power day this week I did barbell inclines. I only do barbell inclines if I have a spotter. I don't chance it without a spotter ever.
I've done 125's for 3-4 sets of 10-12 in the past. That's the biggest DB at the LA fitness I used to go to.
But again it really isn't about the weight, it's how to stimulate the muscle for growth You know this already lol
I train around 7:45-8PM then go home around 10ish I go to bed usually at 11:30-12 now and get up at 4:45-5:00 AM...I know sound Manu-ish but I get up early because I help take care of my daughter in the morning as my wife gets ready for the day.CONQUERING BARBELL

I cannot be everybody's Personal Trainer -- A Short Story but not a Haiku
So check my dilemma, as everyone already know I partner up with one of the guy's in my gym. Cool kid, 24 years old and eager to learn and to be honest the same body type as me. So cool no problem there and best part we don't get on each other's way when we train. Which to me is very important. Bodybuilding/Weight Training to me in general is a Lone Wolf sport. I have to consider my own personal goals first before others.
Well my dilemma started 2 days ago. I saw a couple of younger guys doing smith squats and doing all kinds of non-sense b.s. that can really hurt themselves. So the good samaritan me stepped in and told them how to properly train legs like doing squats, etc..I won't elaborate. They told me they were glad I told them and ask if they can "watch" me on my next session. Well next session comes around and I find that not only I'm training with my partner now but the other 2 guys have now joined in! But since they are newbies, I have to show them how to perform exercises the correct way, etc. which in turn taking in more of my time. Also I have to wait for my turn with the equipment which also take more time.
To me, 1 partner is ok but 4 people is a crowd and I have to put a stop into this since I am already putting a huge sacrifice just to come in the gym consistently. I can literally see myself leaving my daughter and wifey at night so I can lift. To me that's just not fair when I am there to train "Me" and not be someone's free personal trainer. So yeah I will cut ties with the other two and just keep training with my new workout partner.
How do you guys would handle this??
CLIFFS:
- Gained new training partner. Working out great thus far.
- Two newbies asked for my help but in turn started lifting with us.
- Now 2 guys training turn into 4 guys training. Where the other 2 are complete newbies.
- Me don't get to do everything in my training like cardio because I ended spending time showing how to perform an exercise and wait for equipment.
- Me feel guilty as I am already taking away some time with my family. Not much time but training 2 other people I get that guilt feeling.
- Me going to cut ties with the 2 newbies and give them the boot -- after all they don't pay me $$$ to train them.

Got yourself in quite a pickle audie... Maybe you could give them a routine written down on paper or recommend them to a starting strength routine... Tell them to youtube the exercises and you can keep an eye on their form.

Easy one brah, just do a "week" only tutorial, nothing more. Point them in the direction of EliteFTS or the like if they need more information.
Hell I could even give you the EliteFTS manual pdf (where I learned all my lifts) and you could give it to them by email if needed.
End it with something like... the more you guys do this the easier it is, I myself have a much busy schedule and I would just like to get in and out.

LOL when I finally became a daddy I completely forgot what a good night sleep feels like. Like last night I was awaken once by my wife at around 2:30ish to help put our daughter go back to sleep Slept some more and got back up at 5:30 this morning lol
We do this too on the weekends apparently babies don't care if it's the weekend and they can sleep over lol
That's a good idea. I did tell them to youtube most of these lifts and also since the 2 of them are buds they can partner up.
Can you please forward it bro? I would like to take the easy way out of this one. Thanks man
I agree with Zeus too I think that's the best route given the situation.
Also fellas, I'm shopping for a pocket camcorder so I can shoot more lifting vids
Ohh ohh I dun goof'd now!

Have you seen the GoPro cameras? You can get the lower end model for around $199 I think. The only difference between it and the high-end model is the still image quality, the video quality is exactly the same though.

LOL RTF will be in full HD mode
Yeah seen those GoPro's but not that impress also I'm a cheapo I got the Elph 110 HS + 16gb sdhc memory card + extra battery for less than $150 shipped.
Check this video review of the GoPro HD Hero 2. The vid you posted is an ad for GoPro so I'm sure they made it super slick.

I'll check the video out later, I have to browse the forums over a remote desktop connection and its slow as chit. I never heard back from forumadmin on the issue but this works.
I _ALMOST_ bought a GoPro last night but I decided to upgrade the head unit/speakers in my truck instead

Definitely check the vids out bro and look more on youtube, tons more video test on the powershot elph 110 hs point & shoot. I didn't want to get a point & shoot but I went for it because it had great review both for stills and videos.

Installed the head unit last night (pioneer AVH-3400bh), still waiting on the speakers to ship. Going to be running MB Quart Onyx 6.5" components up front, MB Quart Onyx 6.5" 2 ways in the back and 2 10" alpine type-r subs
My budget is blown to hell, the camera is on hold for now lol

Do you even work??
:}
So check my dilemma, as everyone already knows I'm a pretty easy-going guy on the forums. I've been making vids of my workouts for a while, and one day a bro PMs me and says, "Hey bro, can I send you some vids from my poverty camera phone, and you can put them together, make it all slick and stuff?". "Also, can you add this track to the background? Thanks man."
Me, being a good guy, said no problem. He sent me the vids and the song. I worked on the video that night, ignoring my wife and little son, and sent it to him the next day. He thanked me for it and said it was great. I was like "No problem, glad to help!"
Last night, he PMs again and goes, "Hey bro, I just took some vids of my incline DBs. Can you put these together for me?" To me, 1 video is ok but more is tough since I already put in a huge sacrifice of time on the first one. I can literally see myself leaving my son and wifey at night so I can compile these videos.
How would you guys handle this??
