I used an industrial shelving unit that was thrown away as a squat rack and just welded some brackets to mount it to the wall. One of the things that I wanted was to have a place to hook up bands so I got some cargo loops that recessed into the floor. Just gotta find the right hook to put the bands on easier. Regret not making some safety rails, going to try to weld something up in the future.

I'm definitely looking to do a real nice DIY, and make it pro looking (no offense to yours lol...if it works it works). This link from above is my favorite, even includes rough blueprints: http://home.comcast.net/~stevew01/equipment.html
So here is what I want:
-Pullup bar as one of the top braces (maybe a fat gripz pull up bar for the other?)
-some welded hooks or something to strap bands to, any ideas?
-adjustable safety bars
-What else?!?!?!
