What's up everyone! I am so excited to be starting this new log! I have had so much success with Double-T's products over the last 5 months, and now it's time to push the limits even further!
I was given the opportunity to purchase a couple of new DTS' products before they are released to Bodybuilding.com. These 2 supplements are Betacene and Nitromine. I will be stacking them with Glutacene for this log. The gains should be tremendous! I will be giving feedback on the following:
1. Taste
2. Mixability
3. Pumps
4. Energy
5. Recovery
6. Overall
Here is a little bit of info about myself. I am 30 years old, married to the most perfect woman in the world, Kristen, and have 2 beautiful princesses, Lauren (3 years) and Catherine (6 weeks). Needless to say, I am severely outnumbered at my home by women! Haha.
I am a high school teacher. I have taught for 6 years, and I teach Advanced Placement World Histry and regular World History classes. I have my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and hope to become an assistant principal pretty soon. I am also a personal trainer at my gym, and work up there 3 afternoons a week training clients. Both are great jobs!
In my spare time (haha. Like I have any), I enjoy reading books, watching boxing/mma, and surfing the bb.com forums.
I have been working out since I was in high school. I played football, basketball, and baseball throughout high school and received a football scholarship to the University of West Georgia (a division II school).
Unfortunately as soon as I got to UWG, I began having problems with my back, and in 2001 I had 2 back surgeries that ended my career.
After my surgeries, once I got back in the gym, I realized how important strength training was going to be to rehab and get back to my "old self." After a couple of years, my strength was back and I was feeling great, but then I tore my ACL in my right knee playing basketball!!!! Dang it!
After my ACL surgery, I decided sports were not for me anymore. I decided to throw myself into weight-training, and spend all my spare time in the gym instead of on the playing fields/courts.
I train at 5 am Monday - Friday, and always take Sat and Sun off to be at home with my family.
My training style is very intense (as you will see), and I will change up my rep/set scheme often to keep my muscles confused. Here are my current maxes that I hope to increase while on this stack:
Bench: 125 lbs db's x 4 reps (I don't really do bb bench)
Squat 365
Deadlift 410
I will be including lots of videos in this log of my lifts so be sure to check those out!
Finally, I hope that this log can be an inspiration to others to achieve more than they ever thought possible! I want to thank Paul Burton, the CEO of Double-T Sports, and Jordansrt, the head rep, for making this amazing opportunity available for me. I'm gonna represent for you guys and show everyone just what these supps are capable of producing!

Workout Thoughts
Crazy-strong workout this morning. I was kind of concerned because my back was a little sore, but it didn't bother me at all during the workout! The squat went up nicely, so I'm pretty sure I will try to go heavier next week. Maybe 375 or 380. I was pleased with the hack squats, too. I was getting down fairly deep, so to go up in weight was a pleasant surprise! I had to drop the weight on the lunges as my right hip was kind of hurting. No need to destroy it. Better to fight again another day! I am done doing HIIT for a while I believe. I have been doing it for the past couple of weeks, and it is just making my knees too sore. I am gonna go back to doing my LISS cardio instead. I am going to change it up though and utilize the stairmaster and eliptical along with the treadmill. We'll see how it goes.

Supplement Thoughts
BETACENE
Taste: 10/10 - I am telling you guys, this is the best-tasting orange supplement that I have ever utilized. Much better than Creadyl (and I love creadyl) and Glutacene.
Mixability: 10/10 - I mixed 1 scoop in about 12 oz of water in my shaker cup. It mixed up perfectly, with no clumping or residue. It was very smooth as well. Very easy to drink!
Pumps: NA- I can't really comment on this as my legs are tough to gauge for pumps. They were swollen though by the end of the workout! I will assess this later once I hit arms.
Energy: 8/10 - I was very concerned about my energy-level since I workout so early in the morning. I usually drink Creadyl which has stims in it to get me going. No stims this morning, but the workout was fantastic! The energy was there and you can't argue with new PR's!
Recovery NA - We will see tomorrow
Overall 9/10 - Could have easily rated it a 10, but I want to wait and see how I respond the rest of the week. This was an awesome first workout, and we will see if I continue to progress with this new Double-T product!!!!!
GLUTACENE
Taste: 9/10 - I love the taste of wildberry glutacene. The only reason it is not a 10/10 is because I think Strawberry tastes a little better. No artificial taste in this product though. It is very smooth and very easy to chug! I kept having to tell myself, "sip, don't chug, bro!" So good!
Mixability: 8/10 - There is some residue after shaking, but this is common in drinks that contain Leucine. I don't mind the residue though. I just add a little more water and drink it up!
PumpsNA - Will have to wait and see how this combines with Betacene to produce pumps
Energy 9/10 - It's crazy how the endurance was there for me this morning. I was going very heavy and only taking moderate breaks inbetween sets, but I did not suffer any muscle-fatigue.
Recovery NA - Will wait and see how I feel tomorrow. I hammered my legs so this will be a nice test!
Overall - 9/10 - Again, this could very-well be a 10 if the taste grows on me a little bit more to rival the strawberry flavor. We will see how the recovery is as well, which could bump it up to a 10.
NITROMINE
[I]Taste: NA - Tablets
Mixability NA-Tablets
Pumps NA - Taken post-wo
Energy NA - Taken post-wo
Recovery NA - too early to tell. We will see how I am tomorrow
Overall - Can't give a rating yet. We will see how my body responds this week!
