    i need help with supplements

so im 15, been working out for a few years now. i just recently purchased whey protein glutamine and bcaa.. and so i have been taking the glutamine and bcaa in the morning.. well.. as you probably know tthey are both supposed to help with muscle recovery. well i took them the last few morning.. when i went to lift.. my body felt like it ws already sore.. and i hadnt been sore at all.. and i felt weaker.. couldnt put up as much weight.. also i felt exremely fidgety and sick to my stomach.. like about to puke while i was lifting. i dont know whats going on... i dont know if its my body rejecting it.. or if its just getting used to having the extra things in there.. anyways. what should i do? fight it out a few more days and see if it gets better? or just stop taking them.. btw.. the bcaa and the glutamine are both in pill form

You might be having a bad reaction to the one of the ingredients.

You shouldn't really be taking Glutamine or BCAA, if you get enough protein, Glutamine and BCAAs are made by your body. Unless you have protein deficiencies these supplements aren't necessary.

well i mean they are litterally pure glutamine and pure amino acids.. nothing else in them except what they are

Sleep and calories could be the problem too! Make sure your getting a good 2,500 calories a day at least and sleep A LOT. I'm 176 lbs and bulking at right around 5-6,000 calories a day! Keep at it man!

Congrats you bought into the whole "muscle recovery" gimmick. Don't take the supplements if your body doesn't agree with them.
