Yes my Highschool football team was only good because we had " dem country *****s" as the liked to call themselves, from some of those towns. Honestly some of the coolest people I have ever met, nothing like pulling up in a truck in full camo after hunting, and drinking beer and goose with 30 black guys. And you also come to find that these people dont hold the "grudge" that the city folk do, yet half of them are living on land that their forefathers were given when they were free. They understand the past is the past.

The rural south is racist as fawk (srs) if you showed up in baggy pants and a fitted hat to the side you would get **** from blacks and whites. Its not like what you see on tv, and yes in some small rural towns you will get stopped for going 5 over if they dont remember the car/truck. People dont realize that southern blacks are just as if not more racist than whites ( in rural areas ) I have went to atleast 10 different AME churches and cookouts with the land owners around or huntin clubs, and land. And I was treated like family

Most Alabama fans are a different breed of people. 80% of them aren't really college football fans at all but like Alabama because their parents and grandparents liked Bear Bryant.

Sure racism exists in the south but it also exist up north but I guess its just more stereotypical down here because we broke from the union over 125 years ago...

49% of my city is black, i dont have statistics but i would bet all of my belongings that per capita there is WAAAYYY more inter-racial relationships and marriages/kids etc down here than in new england or out west
in all seriousness, when you go to a middle school 2/3rds black, and a highschool over half black you genuinely seriously for 100% real dont care about these things

SC is almost entirely baptist/methodist..go to any small town and the biggest building in town is always the baptist/methodist church
